yea pretty much slc and boise is the farthest my car has been away from home, in boise i actually seen 34-35lbs spikes before so i usually turn it down a few turns when i go there. in slc i had that ***** maxed out and was barely spiking 25-26 and only holding 20

no wonder my trap was down 6mph lol

Quote: Jeez I can't imagine if you were to drive down to LA you'd probably be boosting at stock levels. Their air quality is horrible compared to SLC. Just don't go down there either.
I'm already at stock, i go there i'll be boosting like 10

Quote: Thats what im thinking. pretty much anyone i talk to from this area that goes to slc says the same.

but i have a solution for the issue= not go to slc lol
Low boost is the only problem?
Did you make an adj. to the boost controller, or perhaps the wastegate?

I'm sure you just need to make one or two very simple adjustments to get boost in check, there's plenty of people in utah that can run higher boost

i just adjust my boost controller like i do any other time, i have no problems making the proper boost here or in boise but everytime i goto slc its crap

hmm, that's strange. I can pretty much go anywhere in the surrounding states hitting 28lbs & not have any more than a 1.5 psi variance logged off of a MAP sensor.

Thats what I'm thinking, it shouldn't change vary much at all.

I'm on psi based boost control though, maybe that has something to do with it. Still, he should be able to hit desired boost in Utah.
