Utah Evos
Justin, you need to harden up and mod it right now. First things first, put a bunch of performance stickers on the car so people think you're fast, and possibly furious.
Next, tape bottles of NOS energy drink to your dash for reasons already mentioned above. However, this requires some mechanical knowledge of duct tape, hopefully you know a guy who can help.
Lastly, black is the best evo color by far!

I've one upped you and taped them to the roof, kind of like a double-whammy vortex generator. Once my last name in old english sticker comes in, my rear window will be complete. Anyone know of any good parking garages around town my friends and I can drive race in (when we aren't "gleaming the cube" of course)?

I'd be down for a cruise. I have cabin fever from winter so bad, I NEED to get out!
Yeah I'm not really too worried about the vibration, a little vibration vs breakin that belt every time I beat on it a little is a good trade off for me. Yeah those hood dampers of yours are pretty neat-o burrito! I'm still waitin to get the car back so I can get it tuned. A stupid gasket ripped so he had to order a new one. Gaskets, I mean, do we really need them?! Maybe I'll just eliminate my gaskets too!

The vibration is just a hare bit more noticeable at idle, but the engine Revs sooooo much smoother after you get rid of the balance shafts. Had I known it would make the difference it did I would have taken mine out a lot sooner than I did.
crush the gen 1, my gen 1 would hold boost at the 24psi range so no reason to get anything else yet , it will hold 22psi just fine. btw mine isnt crushed and still have it if anyone wants to buy it
they did a good job getting it fixed fast and was surprised it was only $75so as long as its not the head gasket
Blue really is the best Evo color, and the best color on a lot of cars... So you're right... I apologize. I probably would've kept my Evo at least a little bit longer had it been EB. The new blue for the Vettes this year looks great, and the S2000 blue looks good too... And while I don't think I've seen many in person, most of the Porsche cars look good in blue too... And that's all that matters anyway
If you drove it off the lot you don't have a warranty anymore Justin, might as well just get started now
And I know what you mean, since I started working full-time at a job where I have full access to the internet I think I've made another 1000 posts

I wonder how many Utah Evo owners don't post on here now that there's a surge more guys who own them. John (Brembo350z) and I saw a black one park next to me at Barnes and Noble out by Jordan Landing. I've seen a few others around (most notably a silver wingless that parks way far away at Golds Gym on Van Winkle). I wish there was a way to get more people posting on here.
I even saw Stomper the other day out here by the Airport and tried waving but he just looked at me funny
I need an Evo-camo kit for the Porsche
Anyway, that's my cool story for the moment, lots of new Evo owners, and no one posts on here. Weather is starting to get better, we should set-up a meet/drive once East Canyon opens back up. Or before, just East is the only canyon worth driving much...

1.) Gangsta wannabes (some of which are pretty nice) that know their car can perform if they put some effort into it, but would rather slouch down under the steering column trying to find the perfect ..... well we all know what Ogden is like.

2.) Myspace heros who just haven't figured out Google rules the world when it comes to "Lancer Evolution Utah" and find this long yast thread! I suggest a generous amount of sticky notes (2 dolla for a pack at Walmart) on their windshield with how to get on this thread.

Umm my luxury is the gas pedal
So you don't think I should order JB Weld's gasket elimination kit?!

Going fast for cheap is overrated anyway.
