Utah Evos
Turbo Labs is chargin me about 300 to do it. It sounds like a good deal since he does good work ya know.
Then I got the kit for 120 w/ a 150 core charge from AMS.
Got that deal from PRICEMATCHEDPARTS.COM. He's here in Orem. Their site is still under construction.

evo domination
Hey evo domination, I was at turbo labs today talking to Joe and the guys, and ur evo was up on the lift. I took a look at it, it's pretty sweet. How r u liking those BC cams? I'm thinking about getting some.
my friend traded a flawless white one into the audi dealership about 2 months ago, i dont know if they still have it but it made like 405 whp, has a fp green and cams, its a very nice car
I love the cams. They feel the same as my buddy's HKS', IMO. I like the lopey idle and they pull very aggresively, even though I'm still on my stock tune. They're solid core with a clean grind, look very well built, and the best part, half the price!Hey thank you. It's comin along one piece at a time. I've worked alot of overtime for toys for that car!

My goal is to run 10's, full street trim, daily driver, eventually. So whatever horsepower I need to make that happen is what I'm aiming for. Stroker w/ a 37r should put me there, I believe.
As for the reason for eliminating the shafts, I've broken 2 belts in one year, plus eliminating the rotational mass of the shafts will help with winding up the motor quicker, simular to doing a lightweight flywheel. To much at risk when that belt breaks. It can rip off your crankshaft position sensor, ruin your oil pump, possibly damage your head if it doesn't shut right down, starve the motor for oil and so on.

more vibration though? right?
I can't wait to see how much HP you are going to get out of the balance shaft removal. I mean stroker and 37r should work but I could not tolerate the lag. I am going for the same goal but I will stay with a stock motor and I will either go with a 57 or 58 trim.

From my findings, most of the people that have done the bs removal don't really notice too much vibration at all. Some said they didn't notice any at all. Even their motor mounts seem to handle it fine. Most of them say if you run a engine torque dampener, it helps reduce the wear on the motor mounts due to the removal.
