Utah Evos

Cuz after all, it's a 96 and I'm just trying to be a real pal and take the burden of a car possibly breaking down on you, from being too old, or, the stress, therefore, uh... Your car is just wicked badness!
I wonder how many Utah Evo owners don't post on here now that there's a surge more guys who own them. John (Brembo350z) and I saw a black one park next to me at Barnes and Noble out by Jordan Landing. I've seen a few others around (most notably a silver wingless that parks way far away at Golds Gym on Van Winkle). I wish there was a way to get more people posting on here.
I even saw Stomper the other day out here by the Airport and tried waving but he just looked at me funny
I need an Evo-camo kit for the Porsche
Anyway, that's my cool story for the moment, lots of new Evo owners, and no one posts on here. Weather is starting to get better, we should set-up a meet/drive once East Canyon opens back up. Or before, just East is the only canyon worth driving much...

My goal is to run 10's, full street trim, daily driver, eventually. So whatever horsepower I need to make that happen is what I'm aiming for. Stroker w/ a 37r should put me there, I believe.
As for the reason for eliminating the shafts, I've broken 2 belts in one year, plus eliminating the rotational mass of the shafts will help with winding up the motor quicker, simular to doing a lightweight flywheel. To much at risk when that belt breaks. It can rip off your crankshaft position sensor, ruin your oil pump, possibly damage your head if it doesn't shut right down, starve the motor for oil and so on.

37R lag FTL with daily driving yo
my buddy's 511whp stock block 35r would hit 10's with full trim but his ****ing massive size rotora brakes and his 18's spinning down the track net him 11.3
From my findings, most of the people that have done the bs removal don't really notice too much vibration at all. Some said they didn't notice any at all. Even their motor mounts seem to handle it fine. Most of them say if you run a engine torque dampener, it helps reduce the wear on the motor mounts due to the removal.
hey all,
upgraded the 04 R/A traded in for an 06 SE, 6500 miles on it at ken garff downtown. Trying to keep the warranty, so we will see how long I can keep the mods off it. All in all its such an upgrade from the RA that I don't feel like I need to do anything to it anyway. Just thought I'd chime in and say hello.

Actually some ppl say the engine damper transfers more vibration and unless you have a drag car really not worth spending the cash thats why I got hood dampers instead

Your car is blue, you aren't invited
J/k, I know how you feel, I went up to see if East Canyon was opened yesterday... Still closed, but its very very pretty untouched snow up there
But Emmigration canyon was kinda fun on my way back down into town.

Don't hate the blue because it's B-E-A-utiful! I'll call the state and let them know that that road needs to be cleaned up opened and that leaving it like this will not be tolerated! No worries cuz they owe me one, I let them take taxes out of my paychecks.
I've been laid off all winter, so evom has been my entertainment, all day long, everyday. I think my posts went from 1 to 100 in about 2 weeks!
Justin, you need to harden up and mod it right now. First things first, put a bunch of performance stickers on the car so people think you're fast, and possibly furious.
Next, tape bottles of NOS energy drink to your dash for reasons already mentioned above. However, this requires some mechanical knowledge of duct tape, hopefully you know a guy who can help.
Lastly, black is the best evo color by far!
