It's an awesome movie, but it does have an uncanny resemblance to Pocahontas and other Native American-esque stories. Someone said it's like Dances with Wolves in Space.

The reason you buy ilfr7h is because they last longer, the design of the tip reduces the build up of burnt fuel... the colder your plugs get the harder it is for them to perform as a daily plug, because they are so cold when you idle you get this excess build up of residue causing them to foul. Also You can run a tighter gap and still have a decent idle. Less misfires as well.
I remember having to change the plugs in my del slow every month because of the build up. I guess i was on a base map so it could have not been such a problem if i were tune and burning not so rich.
For racecar they are ok for a daily not so much = ) but yes the fancy plugs they are alot of money

yes i understand all this, that is why i didnt run 9's. i DD'd my car and never had any issue with build up. I run this in my buddies nearly stock 8 and he doesn't change them near as often as i do and they work great for him aswell and
IMO 8's are just fine for dd but 9's would be a bit to cold and you would have to keep a good eye on them

I have always had build up issues on my hondas and thats why I Love the Iridium design. I throw em in and forget about them. No worries with crappy start-ups, misfires, and choppy idle. But like I said before I was on a basemap, And never tuned.
mitsu wants you to change them every 30k? And I have "heard" (not experienced) that Iridiums will last more than a year on a 350whp tune...
Changing plugs every oil change < Changing plugs once ever 1- 1 1/2 years
i would never leave a set of plugs in a car for a year regardless if it was a stock honda or modded evo.
i change my plugs alot cause im OCD like that, do i have to eh probably not but its better peace of mind for me.

Wow this misfire in cylinder 1 is fun lol now all I'm getting is inector circuit cyl one
So swapped in new plugs, Weston new stock ignition, same prob, tested resistance on injector 1 - nothing. Traced wire back to ecu plug, tested it there - nothing. There is a resistor pack bolted to the firewall that looks haggard, hopefully thats it. Tried locating pins on Ecu via the injector wires, not sure if thats right tho and not positive if the technique is the same for testing the pins.
But - now I know for sure its not the plugs, wires or coils(and most likely not the injector). Its either (or a combo of) inector plug, wire, resistor pack, ecu plug or inector driver in ecu

man jason i hope you get it all figured out. too bad mitsu likes sticking low impedence injectors on their turbo cars because its just something else to fail or to troubleshoot. i wish i had that diagram parked in front of me, i could be of some assistance. but then again you already have an electrician there, jason is very well spoken for.
hey guys check out my last post in the meet thread. if your up there and i forgot your name please either pm me or post so i can correct it. i need the info for later when i make a poster or banner. thanks
I'm pretty sure I found it and was hitting the right pin. John Bradley and TTP posted the same gems pdf of the Evo9 pinout diagram. I got a copy saved.
BJ when you back in town to get ur Galant put together?
BJ when you back in town to get ur Galant put together?
ill be back in town the week of the 22nd of feb. the galant could very well be up and running by the middle of march. just in time for the march meet! god we need to setup a dyno day somewhere so we can get some good videos of everyone's **** on the dyno, get hard numbers, and then play around somewhere straight and flat then get in the twisties. imagine, a track day out at millers. then the next meet a cruise out to wendover. then next meet a voyage down to st george. i mean the possibilities are endless. i think the more we do meets like last time the more people will show.
anyone selling any parts??
looking for
Tial bov(black or silver)
Mini battery kit
possibly a turbo( hta green or 80mm red) open to other option but probaly needs to be stock flanged
carbon fiber front lip
