Utah Evos
Rob,
That's NICE. I'm feeling the gold rims. I grew up riding, we had a full size track at my house when I was a kid. Then I got burnt out after riding everyday most of my childhood. But recently all my friends have been buying bikes and I've been wanting to get out and ride again... but I don't have a pretty bike anymore.

Back in the day my buddies and I used to ride at least 3 times a week, and we'd go to the sand dunes twice a month. Then we grew up and got taken off the welfare!! Now, we're finally getting stable enough to afford the toys again!! So hopefully we'll ride as often as we used to.
The gold rims were the decision maker on this bike!!
I think I probably would have settled for something local otherwise. Of course, the cams, exhaust, lightened flywheel, power now valve, and all the other extras were convincing as well.

Yeah I was lucky because my Dad bought our property so he could ride there. Our track started as trails, then a bulldozer cam and made a little loop through the woods. That was back in the CR 80 days. Then in 9th grade we stepped up to 125's and had the big track made. This was all up in Seattle where I'm from, and the track was through the trees and such, it was awesome.
I'm scared if I got back into riding that it would only be a matter of time before I started trying STUPID big gaps, and all the freestyle tricks. I don't think I could hold back. And that stuff is dangerous. Snowboarding and wakeboarding have already given me enough concusions!

No, it was a 3 hour drive, and back then I didn't drive. Our track kept us busy. But I did go check out the track one day when our family was in the area. It took us like an hour to find it. It's just a farmers field, with a track cut into the pasture. When I saw it I told my Dad that we needed to buy some farm land and get to it. I would have loved to have taken some laps there. We didn't race for some reason (never felt like it I guess), so we didn't travel alot to ride.
I went there for a motocross event in 1996, I met Jeremy Mcgrath while he was in his trailor, and the dick-head refused to give us his autograph and told us to get lost!! It was the year after Doug Henry broke his back. He was there. We got autographs from him, Mike Larroco, and Kevin Windham. Talk about bummed though, Mcgrath was our hero, and to have your hero deny you a simple autograph
. I never liked him after that.

Zach, you are funny. Now go get a Full Race gt 35R setup.
Rob, Mcgrath was my hero back when he rode 125's for PEAK. I had the full riding gear just like his. Infact I still use the boots and chest protector from that era. I've got some sweet "90's" neon relics.
