Did you grad-u-ma-late and start working for this place? Or are you still schoolin'?

Are you working for Edge? That truck probably makes 700 hp and 3000 ft-lb of torque. I'm sure that when I buy a truck it will only be a matter of time before I start trying to make it just as fast as the Evo.

Lets try and talk about something productive.

Topic:

What should I do for a suspension set-up? Espelir GT Springs or should I save up and get some coilovers? I am looking for something that will do well in autox and the occasional track day while not beating me to death driving it everyday. Thoughts and opinions welcome.

I hear good things about those Esp. GT springs, I think they are stiffer than the Hotchkis untis I have. Hahah I said "unit". I would like some slightly stiffer springs if I could do it over, I still get more body roll than I like.

I was scared of being too stiff, now I don't care. I think springs are fine if you don't plan on becoming a suspension tuning guru.

Jeremy, I have had a few people ride in my car and say that it isn't much worse than stock. But I don't want to be a salesperson here, I havent' tried any others, so I can't say JIC is the best but you get the idea.

Yeah your car rides fine, but it sounds like it is going to fall apart during the winter.

Jared, I didn't graduate yet, i've still got a road ahead of me But I do have a pretty sweet job now, and i'll more than likely be able to move into the egineering dept. here if I want when I graduate.

Jeremy,
Don't waste your money on springs, just save and get some coilovers, I promise you won't regret it. I love mine.

Rob is a Tein boy just like Ben. But I whooped up on Ben and his coilovers out at the IVR with just my springs, swaybar and my right foot.

Seriously though, it depends on the money. Springs are around $200, coilover are around $2000. Do you want to spend that $1800 on suspension, is it worth that much to be able to adjust ride height, and dampening. Will you adjust it??

I would buy coilovers in a second if I hadn't promised my wife to stop buying car parts. I love adjusting stuff and playing with set-up. But being on a budget I'll just get some camber plates for now and keep rockin' my springs.
