Utah Evos
I like honey pots!
Yeah all the hot girls I know either dumped me cuz I'm too kool for skool, or they just wanted to date someone dumber then me. That's pretty hard to find though. I have the bar set pretty low. I'm lucky my wife puts up with me. I could bring her sister maybe...

Is she hot?
Stopped by Ken Garff Downtown and Ken Garff South Towne as promised:
Downtown has 3 GSRs, red, silver, white. I think two have SSS. They're all at MSRP (unless you're a costco member, then they're 500 dollars cheaper!!!
)
South Towne has 5 GSRs, red, silver, white, graphite gray, and another silver. Some with SSS some with out. ALL marked up 4k for no real reason... The manager said it'll drop in a month or two, but the owner just wanted to do it because they barely came out.
Both dealers have already sold two each. Apparently the ones at downtown got bought by two guys who both happened to drive big old dirty trucks
Both dealers are not getting MRs until April, and the first few MRs are already dibs-ed.
Long story short, looks like you're better off buying from South Coast or another one of the dealers that discounts Evos.
Also, they let me inside the Evo (since the auto show didn't). If anyone hasn't been in one yet or looked at one in detail, here's some cool things:
A) The side bolsters in the front seats are A LOT stiffer, but not the seats themselves (how they shoulda been from the first place)
B) The battery is in the trunk, FTW
C) The 4B11 is mounted so that the manifold/turbo/exaust are all at the rear of it, meaning a whole whole lot less piping.
D) The whole underhood area is a lot cleaner and a lot of the pipes look a lot better and a lot straighter
E) The interior is much much much much improved, very impressed, and the stereo sounds great.
F) Coolest thing evar: The AWC controls, totally mounted where the volume controls are on most cars (right on the left side of the steering wheel)... You know for all those "Oh ****, I just went off the tarmac, onto snow, and now I'm going into gravel and back onto tarmac" situatons
G) The HVAC controls are a whole lot nicer, most improved part of the interior for sure.
H) The car is A WHOLE lot quieter too, at least what little I got to hear of it (which wasn't much)

I was at Ken Garff Ogden, they have 2 GSR's in blue for about 37k & a black MR on the way thats sold. They are willing to let one out on test drive if anyone was wondering....... they kept bugging me to take it out. I Agree, the new seats are way more comfy. Did you notice that almost the entire uicp was soft rubber hose, but the turbo placement is much better.
The car is very good looking, pics just dont do it justice.

1, they weigh like 80 lbs more
2. the sst tranny cant take anything above stock hp so if you are planning on modding the car you basically have to get the manual.
3. it costs a lot more for some badges
You remember when she came out to GT Live with us Riley and after one go-kart session she sat in the car and read her school book...
But, she is hot, and I'm thinking she'll want to ride in the Porsche when we go on our drive/meet

on the front and back
(meaning I'd have to buy it from Ken Garff to have any chance of a warranty
) I wonder if they've finally worked out ALL the kinks (from previous models)... AKA, how reliable it is.And what Riley said is true, I have heard multiple places (even the two dealers) say that the SST is not gonna be able to handle much more power.
Agreed completely. And I'm really tempted to drive up to Ken Garff Ogden just to take one for a spin. The booklet almost had me convinced yesterday... Bluetooth, Nav, SSS. And a red GSR... The only thing that stops me from wanting one is not being able to drive one and the fact that it has

Well, Mitsu does have one of the best warranties in the business, then backed by Ken Garff its even better... But the Evos tend to have small print...
And the only way I would end up with a X in my garage is if they handed me an awesome deal on the car and trading in my car. You know, if I could leave oweing a few thousand less than I do now... But that wouldn't happen.
And of course you can come, anyone can come and everyone is expected to come, that's the idea behind the post it notes is to get everyone involved here. I HAD hoped that next weekend East canyon might be opened, but with yesterday's snow it might be a few more weeks.

It would be fun to go for a little weekend drive. I just got back from Vegas on Thursday and the weather was beautiful. Took the EVO out for its first road trip. What a blast! It was 75 degrees. The funny thing was that when we were leaving Thursday afternoon we found out it was Nascar weekend so everyone was watching on the strip for the cars to drive up and down or something. I thought they were just all watching to see me since I didn't see any other EVO's while I was down there.
(JK) but it was a lot of fun to drive and not worry about slipping off the side of the road. Let me know when you plan a weekend drive through the canyon.....
