Utah Evos
I'll take pictures of your car sometime Riley, for free!
I didn't think vboy charged though... But I guess I've just never really heard anyone ask.
Everyone won't fit... But I can fit two people under 5'5" decently in the back, under 5'0" comfortably... Anything bigger and they'll be squished (and probably weigh the car down too much
)
But I'll give anyone a ride who wants one, though it isn't much more exciting than a stock Evo to ride in. I already had a hard enough time fitting the box for Rock Band in the back seat today, had to slide the seat way forward to get it in. Just flipping the lever and tilting the seat forward didn't work...
There's a lot of storage space in the car, if the items you are storing are perfectly shaped... My snowboard fits in the front seat nicely though
And brothren? WTF Vboy, we're not ALL LDS here.

i was bored and looking at power to weight ratio numbers and as soon as i get my car ready for next season i should have a ratio at about 5.65 lbs/hp so i wanted to see how that stacked up to some other cars, an f430 is 6.6 lbs/hp, and the new lambo lp640 is 5.73 lbs/hp. so doesnt that mean i should be able to run close to those on a drag strip?
glad you guys liked the pictures
Riley, I would think you would be close, if not faster, but power/weight is just a number, there are A LOT of other factors that play into things, even things that seem as simple as the 1/4. If you saw the recent (this week) new episode of Top Gear you'd have seen Jeremy, Hammond, and James race from a roll in the Lambo Gallardo Superleggera, the GT3 RS, and some race version of a V8 Vantage. The GT3 RS was nearly as fast as the Gallardo, but the power to weight ratio:
Gallardo Superleggera: 5.66 lbs/bhp
GT3 RS: 7.4 lbs/bhp
A slightly better number to compare would be the lbs/whp ratio. The amount lost to the drivetrain can vary greatly. But still, there's a ton of other factors involved, including the fact that you're AWD, and that would at least give you the jump on the start on the Ferrari (I believe the lp640 is still AWD).
On top of that, for all we know the Ferrari and the lp640 could put down their what ~450-500 hp from 2500 rpms all the way to redline, though I doubt they do. Lotta factors: gearing, power curve, tires, drivetrain. I'm sure there's a bunch of other things...

And vboy, I was j/p. We're neighbors afterall.
It would be fun to go for a little weekend drive. I just got back from Vegas on Thursday and the weather was beautiful. Took the EVO out for its first road trip. What a blast! It was 75 degrees. The funny thing was that when we were leaving Thursday afternoon we found out it was Nascar weekend so everyone was watching on the strip for the cars to drive up and down or something. I thought they were just all watching to see me since I didn't see any other EVO's while I was down there.
(JK) but it was a lot of fun to drive and not worry about slipping off the side of the road. Let me know when you plan a weekend drive through the canyon.....

you'll run low 12'sjust dont forget to bring your driver mod hehe but what really counts riley is the 60ft if you get a ****ty 60ft there your going to have a ****ty time. My best 60ft was 1.68 and would've been an awesome pass but when to throw the gear and it felt like it was locked out lol so missed gear
and I ran a 12.7 this was back in novemeber I think??

So I checked Google for a search for East Canyon to see if I could figure out when it would open. Looks like it is just pending the weather (since they don't plow the road at all), but the campgrounds up there open April 1st.
