Scott (buttmunch)

Are you gettin' ready to line em up on Friday? I made a sweet mod this weekend...I put a magnifing section on my rear view mirror so I can see the look on your face when I dominate you.

Are you doin' your best to get some others to come?

Kid at my work went out street racing and lined up against a black Evo from Bountiful, guess it had a carbon fiber trunk with no wing, bronze wheels, VII tail lights, exhaust, boost control and an AFC, so the standard stuff. The kids Cobra mustang beat it as well as some turbo mustang. Wonder who the guy is.

This next week is going to be sweet, Sunne is going to be out of town, so I get to drag race, work on my car and stay up late driving lonesome roads.

Alright Ramrod.....(JARED)
That sounds like Rob's Car "liberty2000rs" with the gold wheels and Carbon fiber trunk. I haven't seen it yet, but that is what Mitch described to me. They had called me to go down there for the race, but too much SAKE at dinner did me in for the night. But you will have to ask him. I will be down there on friday, probably really early since I have the day off to watch the brackets.......Mitch and Rob to run their cars(STi/EVO) I will probably be there around 4 or so. If you want, I can meet you at your work.

Oh yeah and I installed the S**T Talking deflector on my car this weekend.! Should be worth something.

EVERYONE:

RMR this Friday night. Evo meet. A couple of us are going to be racing. Come hang out check out the cars and whatever. The tech is around 8:00pm and that is a good time to come look at the cars before they go into the actual track area.

I'm guessing you're Zach, I talked to you on the slcsr forum a couple times. I was only running 18lbs when I raced tony, and Robbie. I'm hoping Tony will be in for another race about three weeks from now, after he's worked out his "half throttle" problem.

Giraud gave me your number, and I tried to get ahold of you while we were in SLC, but you didn't answer.

This is the first time i've played with an safcII, and the whole throttle position vs. rpm has got me a little bothered. We threw on my buddies obdII scan tool to watch timing while we played with it a bit on saturday, but I just couldn't get it working like I'd like. Load changes so much with an mbc that it is hard to tune by throttle postition. I need to weld my wide band bung in this week so I can tune it by afr, and then learn to use the blasted thing the way it's supposed to be used. I'm thinking that it's just going to have to go away. I'll probably order a utec next week, i'm a little more comfortable with it.

Anyhow, where are you reving to now with your 272's. What kind of boost are you running on c16??? I think your set up is fairly similiar to mine now, We should get together, and maybe you could help me with the safcII .
Let me know,

Like scott said, Mitch and I are headed down around 3:30 on friday, Mitch won't be racing his car this week, so I won't be having my *** handed to me by a little white sti But it should be fun.

What is required to race int he brackets. I want to race but not at midnights. You have to wait for like 3 hours to get one run. I remember there is something you need that i didn't do but remind me

This should be a fun get together.

Zach's all up on my grill because I don't want to launch hard. My plan changes every 10 mins, sometimes I say, "who cares nail that puppy and 5000 rpms", othertimes I think "just let it out easy at 3500 and it will be ok."

nail it!!!

I think you should just do it, nail that sucker at like 6000, your clutch is only going to last like 15,000 mi anyhow

Ben, You have to pay the registration fee of $25, and then there is another fee of $20 for the first time driver, which I believe is for the initial inspection. The fees may be flipped, I can't remember, but total it's like $45.

I think I will be nailing Scott. As in his car will look like it was nailed to the ground. "Oh snap" for like the 3rd time.

Ben you can run the midnighters, just chill in the long lines with us sucka, then we can have three white Evo's all together.

Hey, took me long enough to find this thread. I'm also Zack, but seeing as I drive an OZ, I wouldn't be suprised if no Evo wants to be seen with me. However, if thats not the case, I'm always up to meeting up with other Lancer enthusiasts.
