Ray,

You should look at KW variant 3 coilovers. Independant rebound and compression dampening. But the stock rates are kinda soft: 9K/6K they go for around $2000.

Also, KW will build race shocks to specs at any spring rate with the valving to match for $2900. Takes 3 weeks from order until they arrive at your door straight from Germany and the race division.

Haha, I knew this would happen if anyone had a IX and wanted to trade bumpers with an VIII, I bet you can post on the main page and get 100 responses in 20 minutes Ray... Why oh why, it makes me sad sometimes.

jrod... i looked at those. $hit i looked at everything... if i was gonna compete or do time attacks in this car i'd look at a more expensive setup like Motons, Ohlins, or DMS... But imo, there is way too much hype over coilovers. Yes there are bad ones but even some of the chinese built ones aren't too bad. Only thing i worry about with some of those is longevity. A lot of people hate JICs. Say they are junk and don't perform well. Well i beg to differ. But i guess that's all opinions... I really want to try out some D2s or Ksports just to see how a cheaper coilovers handle but i'm too worried that they won't last.

Anyway, there's a good chance this car ends up like Scott's car. So no need for the best suspension.

Rob, i really don't think i'll sell the bumper. I have a feeling this car's a keeper and if that's the case i want to keep all the original parts...

Jakey...what makes you sad? Me not liking that ugly a$$ bumper?

I've heard great things about the KW variant 3 coilovers. Most of the S2000 in Honda Challenge and Cup are running JRZs, a few on a tighter budget are running KW ... and I know of one running Koni's.

The earlier post about $800 for the piggy back system. Is that right? At that price why not just get an AEM EMS?

Ray, I'm not adding you to the list. I know you. You are a FLAKE and will not show up.

Assuming money is not an issue, what body kit would you put on a 2003 Evo VIII?

The stock body kit... with a CF OEM hood...

And no Ray, it makes me sad that people like that ugly *** bumper more than the nice looking one on the VIII
