No i was going to race him like 5 months ago.
I have a helix DP and cat back, Perrin CAt pipe w/cel fix, Perrin Rear Sway bar, UTEC, SS clutch line w/ restrictor removed. Kartboy Short Shifter and bushings(shifter and base) K&N panel air filter, Perrin MBC, TurboXS RFL BOV.I haven't been able to tune the utec fully because I don't have a WB yet. But I am going to run my car at the midnights on 09/10. I want to get cams soon. What cams you running HKS? Piper? I want to do them soon.

Also, I have a yellow Evo here in Sandy, and I haven't seen any others, so I was wondering if there are any other yellow ones out there? Well, adios for now.

Yeah that is me.

Yeah I will show you the UTEC. I love it. It is really easy to tune and with just a couple pointers from malibujack here I can tune like a mad man. Now I just need a WB so I can actually tune instead of blindly searching for a tune.

I was in Ogden with some friends this weekend and saw 2 Evo's. One silver with 4 people in it and a red one with just purchased tags on it. Anyone on here?

I'm back from Taiwan finally. I am totally game for a get together. A saturday night would be pretty cool. All the boys out roamin the streets. I finally got some exhaust. I've got a nice new 3" downpipe from Lancershop sittin' in my trunk. I'm going to go get a 3" MagnaFlow muffler and do up a cat back myself.

Ben, doesn't Cole have a wideband?

I asked on NASIOC when I had my RS and no one was there to help. If you PM Cole and ask him directly I'm sure he'd be up for a "quick tune ride" with you.

Scott and I are getting together on Saturday morning at my work in SLC to work on our cars a little.

Anyone interested in a little get together is welcome to come. We will be there at 9:30 am but 10:00 am is probally a good time for anyone interested to come. My work is just off Redwood Rd around 2100 S. The exact address is 1171 W 2400 S, if you want to come- hit up the mapquest and feel free to stop by. We are working on the exhaust on my car, and maybe an adjustable BOV.

Sorry Zach can't do the evening this weekend or next.

Spotting

Late thursday night (sept. 9th) north of SLC, in the ogden area there was a black evo with what looked to be gold Advan RGs (18" I think) with what sounded like a turbo-back exhaust, what looked like a wingless carbonfiber trunk and there were four of you tuning it I think. (laptop on passengers lap).

We were in the modified WRB WRX. Was that any of you guys in here? If so, what all has been done to that EVO? We were both impressed.

After a little digging here, I think I found you:

Very nice ride. Let us know if you are ever south of the point of the mountain, I would love to see it in the light and a little more up close and personal (ie: not watching your tails as you pulled on us).

Scott and I got the new stuff installed on my car over the weekend. Downpipe, high flow cat and a Greddy BOV. On our first test drive I ripped through first gear and said, "wow that stuff made a nice difference", then Scott said "yeah you just hit 25 lbs of boost, I'm sure it felt good". I guess the stock BOV valve was doing some leaking, I went from about 19 psi in first gear to around 24 psi after changing the BOV. It took 2 full turns on the manual boost controller to get things back down to a legit 20 psi in 3rd gear.

Scott's car is a mean mother. I thought intercooler pipe upgrades were a joke, but the Buscher stuff Scott has is awesome, and the 1st gen BOV is super loud on his setup and it doesn't even vent to atmosphere. I wanted my car to be quiet, but after driving Scotts car again I want the loudness.

do you still have the stock catback on? sounds sweet, by spring i think there are going to be a good amount of fast evo's in the northern utah area.
liberty2000rs ran on friday night he bogged the launch bad 14.4 or something but his mph was around 115 or so his car hauls ***. that gt-35r looks sweet but it just fits with inches to spare in alot of places.

Yeah I still have the stock catback on. I want to get a 3 in highflow muffler and weld up my own catback. Ben said he ran a 13.5, and that Rob ran a 13.0 at some point in the night. That 35r should be haulin once he figures everything out. I wonder what will ever happen with the "super evo" of Orem, when it gets finished.
