Utah Evos
Sorry for the interruption......I'm coming out of lurk mode. Wondering if anyone has a set of stock Enkei's they'd be interested in selling.
If you do, let me know a price and when I could pick them up. TIA.

Let me rephrase what I had said before... If you're not greasing your pads, the DS2500s will be louder than the Brembos... If you ARE greasing your pads (which, genereally, everyone is. The only reason I haven't was because I didn't have any on hand after switching the Cobalts out after track racing) then the DS2500s are a good deal quieter than the Brembos. The ONLY drawback to the DS2500s to the stock ones if you grease them is the high amount of brownish pinkish blackish dust.

The pad would not cause your foot to hit the floor while braking. Overheating of the brake fluid would cause this. If the pad was gone then you would get a solid pedal but no bite. I overheating pad can overheat the brake fluid but normally you notice the pad going then the pedal to the floor.
Either one is not a nice thing to experience when you are relying on your brakes.

NASA pricing is good. I've heard complaints from friends about the size of the run groups at NASA events. Given the 4.5 miles of track at MMP ... I'm not overly concerned.
For ALL those lurkers that keep sending me PMs, rather than posting in the thread:
1. There is NO fee. The $200 post was a joke.
2. Anyone is welcome to attend regardless of what they drive. I drive a hon-DUH, not an EVO.
3. Don't send me PMs, just post in the forum. I almost NEVER check my PMs ... unless whacky hair dude posts "You've got PM" in the thread, so I know to check.
Here's the plan and the confirmed list ...

I talked with the folks at MMP today. It is unlikely that we will be able to get a driving tour of the track. It's still a construction site. I told 'em we'll take what we can get.
Mr. Talon? will you be joining us!?
