Well, stock in at least the ECU programming goes. You can have a piggyback and a GT35 turbo on it for all we care, so long as the ECU programming is stock. We could also consider it if you have one of those $99 reflashes where they just alter a rev limit because that's not really abusing anyone's IP. I mean, we know where the rev limiter is stored in the ECU, so we wouldn't be using it for discovery.

I just want to stay clear of downloading tuner's ECU data because of the potential implications that we've stolen their uber-secret methods and techniques.

Looks like we have some 2003 EVOs and a 2006 EVO9 MR lined up for ECU reading along with our 2005 RS. Hopefully we can get someone around with a non-MR EVO9 and maybe a 2004 and 2005 MR?

No 2004 MR, it was new to the 2005 Model year.

 

Having read some of his blasphemy in the past, I'd say you nailed that one square on the head Mike.

 

I'll tell you what I nailed... my front bumper beam... with a Sawzall. Cut out 26 inches of it right in the center, and 2 inches from each end. Then welded in a 1 inch square tube across the center. Now I have good airflow and a lot less weight.

Next up, rear bumper beam. And I want fixed back Corbeau seats, FX1 Pros.
