Hopefully NASA will host another event this summer. There is a PCA event planned for 8-July.
I could've sworn that I saw times of 2:1x up there on the sheet for those Formula TR cars.

Could be ... I thought it was 2:4x. Then again, according to what you saw I ran a 3:15!

It was nice to meet Jake, finally.

The track certainly is incredible. I can't wait to give it another go this Friday . I must admit, I'm hooked.

Anybody here in that silver Evo that went zipping by me at a decent clip?

-Jon

Track day sounded gay, I'm SOOO glad I didn't go. I would have ran 3:05's anyway.

OK I'm still bitter. Maybe I'll have some suspension by the time I actually get there.

So after doing NASA's little online program I am in the lower part of TTA. I wonder how many points I have left before TTU because there's no way I can keep up with most of the TTA guys.

And unless someone showed up later that I didn't see, I was the only silver one in HPDE 1,2,3. Unless that grey MR was driving.

I can dream that I'll bonus a few more times at work before the PCA one and that COBB will finally release the Accessport for the Evo and maybe even some cams.

Dear Jake,

HKS makes cams, no need to wait. Also, Cobb can tune your car without the accessport. So just go get some cams fool.

Jake was most likely on RA-1's, maybe V710's.

TTA? Remind me and let's go through it together. At the last event the TTA guys were slower than TTB. :P

Yeah, I'm not 100% sure on the suspension but other than that I think I'm in TTA...

And they were 245 V710s (they don't make em in 255s in the size for the stock rims).

How can they tune it without anything, can they flash the ECU now? I just don't want to deal with Al again is all. Or deal with removing the ECU and just having a mail-in flash.

Dear Jake the internet is your friend. If you SEARCHED this site you would know that hacker boys have released a freeware version of the ECU reflashing software. Infact I have it already, I CAN TUNE YOUR CAR!

Anyway, Cobb has the technology - they can reflash your car using there equipment without the accessport.

Not to mention, the software is free now and very good. Scott and I are buying the cable to go from the computer to the OBDII port. So tuning worries are gone. The only problem is you being a wuss.

Searched this site, did you smoke something while you were in Taiwan Jared? Searching this site for something is like searching for a silver needle in a chrome needle pile... The search engine needs some serious tuning... haha, forgive the pun... Plus, why would I search for anything when all I have to do is look stupid, take a few hits here and there for looking stupid, and get an answer from someone else?

And now that it is almost 2 AM I am going to go to bed before I type anything else, good day to you sir.

ECUFlash may change how a majority if our tuning gets done, even Al is already offering maps he will e-mail to you for $50. This should open up flashing to a lot more shops that can tune but were not going to spend the money on the software.

What's up guys? I own an EVO IX MR, no mods on it yet. Lived in CO but moving to Vernal, UT for 2 years. Figured I'd introduce myself. Any other EVO owners in Vernal? I saw one parked at McD's on the way in. Anyone here own that? Also is there a track close to Vernal anywhere? I'm pretty new to racing on a track, but I figure it's better than getting arrested. Is there anywhere local to get parts or am i going to have to drive to SLC or order em online?

Also I had problems w/ my clutch at 11,000 ft on the way here. It depresses normally but doesn't wanna get off the floor. It's a lot better now that I'm at a lower altitude. I think maybe I have a little air in the lines and it's just magnified at high alt? I don't think it's a leak tho, cuz everything seems to be dry under the hood. Tell me what you guys think.
