cobb exhaust is heavy and not the best sounding imo, i would get like the buschur and save yourself $$$ also the accessport is unneccesary, call up adam munoa or erich ficker and have them tune your car to save a few $$$ pm me if you have any questions

The evo was a blast to drive, I'll say that. I don't think I'll have as much fun driving anything else on the road, but when I get a dedicated track car, that will be fun I won't miss being harassed by every ricer punk on the street, nor all of the attention the cops give us. It's funny how idiots with focus', mazda's and all forms of underpowered street junk think they could actually hang with us . So, I unhappy to lose all of the fun of driving, but happy to lose all of the attention, so I guess everything is balanced and it's ok. I'm glad the new driver is stoked, have fun teamsprock

Yeah, I've been reading about all these new cobb toys for the evo... Dunno about that. I'd say Buschur or Meagan- cheaper and worth the money. I have a Meagan turbo back- fits perfect, have had no problems with it at all, looks good, sounds good and was only like $450. If you want some vids of it at idle and revving lemme know I have them up.

I was the same way, and surprisingly enough with the Porsche there's less of that type of attention. More people look at the car, and most do a double take when they see the driver, I've already had like 20 people ask if my dad was okay with me driving his car. But oddly enough I have had a TON less people try to race me like that, maybe its just always kids who wanna see what the Evo's got, who knows. I always hated that, especially when a car would pull next to me and go forward and back to try and get my attention . But you're in a BMW, you couldn't have lost ALL the fun of driving.

I really like my Greddy/Turboxs tbe. Looks good, sounds good, and was well under $1000.

If you really want the Accessport, its a nice piece of electronica, but if you have a laptop, you can do all that and more with a $100 usb cable.

We dont have a huge flashy shop (but it's 40 min closer to you ), but we have a dyno and we'll get your car tuned properly. I would also suggest a MBC, or at least a different restrictor pill if you are going to use the stock boost solenoid.

If Kansas is anything like how my parents describe (we lived there a long time ago) you'll be plenty fine here. Very rarely is the state of Utah caught off guard without snow plows and salt at the ready. I was just fine for the 3 years I had mine, 2 of which were spent on basic all-seasons (the first one I went up to go snowboarding, so I got snow tires).

Oh and Alan, PM me how much.

Yo I'm in St George I could do a lil flash with logging your car and having fick send me a map to get ya started, I have the cable and the software pimped out on my laptop. But if you don't really have any mods I could remove your boost taper and a few other things. You could go to Vegas I've been tuned the first time at dougs dyno by clark turner and in Sept I got tuned by chris from ams at dynojet. All the Vegas evo guys are cool as **** and I could get ya hooked up on some used parts if you wanna get started, I don't really have anything left over myself. As far as the TBE I love my Invidia tbe

Hey guys, been posting this to the local forums, but thought I'd throw it up here too to get as much exposure as possible.

So my little sister just moved here for a job with the Unified Fire Authority as a firefighter, and as a nice "welcome to Utah" her car was stolen last night.

It's a really dark blue (pretty much looks black) 4-door honda accord with Washington license plates 720 WTC. There's a firefighter sticker in the bottom left of the rear window. The front passenger side fender is dented (but that's hard to see since it's a dark color) and the passenger side headlight is busted (but still works).

The car was taken in Kearns.

All of her equipment and uniforms for firefighting were in the car unfortunately.

If you see the car, please notify police.

Just thought I'd post this around a few places and hopefully get some eyes out there looking for it. Thanks guys.

Good luck hopefully they find it. I will keep my eye out for it down in the Utah county area.
I just did some work for a customer that just got his car back for the 2ND time in 2 months It was a Honda Accord too
The first time they took the car and took the wheels off and left it in a parking lot behind a movie theater. The 2nd time they took all his stereo and speekers and personal stuff. They found it that time in a field in nowhere land by the lake. Then they found the car that took his wheels last week. Talk about bad luck Hopefully they find the car that took his stereo Hopefully they find your sisters car and all her stuff is still there.
