Hey Eric I may want that carbon hood. how much do you want to sell her for? and I need to see the cars first. So I went to Lap Battle yesterday and Sorry Jason I didnt make it out to midnight drags. I was Putting some coilovers and new Stoptech stuff on and checking everything last min. before the Lap battle. Well I drove the car out to the track with the Hoosiers in the back, and got out there and there was like 6 or 7 STI's and a few other cars and only 2 other Evo's 
there was a Gray 9 MR a friend, My friend Kris the White/ carbon fiber Evo 8 and then me. not a lot of support out a the Evo area tho.
any how first time out with the New setup on the car and first lap was great car was set up perfectly mid way thro the 2 (lap first timed lap) going into the attitudes going into 3rd gear and "GRIND!!!"
that didn't sound good. I tried again thinking I didn't put the clutch in all the way and "GRIND!!!" It happened again 
comming in to the next turn by now so braking and down shifting and wont go into 2nd
pull off to the side and try to put it into 1st nothing wont go in. Try all the gears wont even try to go in to any gear but 3rd and it just grinds So not a good day for the Evo IV havent had a chance to take the trany apart yet and wont be able to till i get back from Cali next Tuesday. any Ideas on what wrong with my Trans?

I'm going to point my finger to the tranny so you should call up shep & see what they say and get quote on rebuilding yours. I've already talked to them about mine but I don't want any down time right now (a month)see I've got notchy tranny and I'm sure you heard me *****ing about mine but after changing the fluids and adjusting the clutch a few times its fine so I point my fingers to the clutch cuz I had no grinding going into gears except my 5th gear which I think the synchro is going.

I already deleted one save, but the other was only like 30 min behind, hooray for being a video game nerd. I took the disc back to Gamestop and said "It don't work!" And they said "here's a new one." And it works now. I did the multiplayer tutorial thing, we gotta play soon Wes.
Super freakin awesome. Ironman twice. The Hotel (/w uber elite Porsche parking right out the front door, haha, and then some hoes got us in free and past the line), a party, and lots of sleep. Not too bad of a weekend, not amazing though, I need to go visit Wes sometime
My Evo was the least used of any car I've ever seen. It had 3 miles on it when I got it. As with any used car, there's a **** load to look for. The whole "don't buy one that's modded, because its probably been beaten on" is a bunch of bs. Yes, the likelyhood of more serious beating exists with a modded Evo, but I know for a fact that both my Evo and Jeremy's old Evo were in pretty damn good condition. My clutch was still amazing at 53k miles, many MANY of which were serious track driving miles. But just because an Evo doesn't have any mods done to it doesn't mean it's any safer than one that does. If anything find an Evo with tasteful mods done to it from someone who seems trustworthy. All the private buyers who looked at my car knew every detail of it, because I was honest with them all. The dealers didn't know as much usually, but the one I traded it in to knew everything (all the racing), and I even walked them through how to use everything on it (namely the TT and the defi gauges) so they could show the new owner.
Of course you do. Hopefully more of you guys will show up at the next "meet" too.
So a cheap CF hood for the Porsche would be out of the question too then...
Dude, a DB9 is an Aston Martin. And it is more fun to "spank" on cars that cost 3x as much as the Evo, its not as fun to spank on the Evo.

here goes:Mine was kinda doing that too I just turned off ps3 and then back on & ejected the disc. Don't delete your save games yo o and the strip club cracks me up haha theres also a shotty in there. I'm not that far into game yet I've just started doing missions for vlad I've been playing online alot

so anyone want to break down what i should look for when looking to purchase a used Evo. mainly things that show its been beat the **** up and what-not. when searching KSL and auto-trader i see such a variation in price that im really not sure what is good.... not good. and whoa... way to good. i know that a dealer usually adds a bit more because they clean it and have their techs look it over and what not but i remember jakes evo (dont think bought used but the problem becomes the same) i really dont want to get into an evo than have it turn into some huge money pit. especially considering any wrentching would have to be done by someone other than myself.

Family brought me here but the ladies around here have been pretty umm nice over the years. Last I was in slc was 99-2001 then I was married down here in "bfe" for a few years and fast forward 2yrs later I'm still here haha who knows how much longer I'll stay here...??

#2 I have an EVO VIII and I wanna put gauges in...which ones do you guys like and why? Where do you recommend getting them?
#3 I need a relocation kit for my deck....so i can put in the guages...where do you recommend getting that from. i want a nice one...preferably one that's not a pain in the *** to put in! FTW!

I just love all ladies into imports that are hot and I like them imported mostly where they have burnette hair with a nice hourglass frame hehe
