So, I dropped by Mike Riddle Mitsu today, because I see those 5-6 EVO X's on my way home everyday and so I had to finally drop in and check them out up close. The only one I've seen "in real life" was at the Utah Auto Expo in January. No one even came out to say hi or talk to me. It was better that way, but customer service blows. So does the fact that they are marking up the X's $2500 for "market fluxuation" or something to that affect. Bogus! Those X's have been sitting there for like 2 weeks or more already. Duh! These 5 EVO X's with that mark up don't even have the front lip spoiler. Hosers!

Any plans for a Memorial Day, maybe early June meet? Hopefully I'll be home by then cuz I'm sick of this place! Thermometer hit 115 degrees by 1015 am yesterday and we're expecting 130's before we leave!! WOOT for body armor and broke a$$ Hummvees with no AC!

Yeah they are douche bags at that dealer. Funny thing is from what I've heard they're better than the other Mitsu dealers up north. I went over there just to see a X in person and it was everything they could to to try to convince me I should trade my VIII in for a X! I told them it would never happen. When hell freezes over, then, I'll still keep my VIII.

Mike Riddle
is affiliated with a few shady dealerships to include Midway Auto Plaza up north, especially around Layton and Ogden. I know several people including myself that have been royaly screwed by them. I didn't know until after I bought my VIII from Midway that for awhile they were blacklisted by base (illegal for them to sell to military). I only paid NADA for mine, but once I got over the excitement of my new car, I realized just how much the PO beat it. Clutch went out the first week and had a few other problems and they pretty much told me to get lost. Once I tore my car apart, I found out it had been "repaired" by someone a few times and had to replace several random bolts that were missing. She is good now, but what a nightmare! Just my 2 cents..

Welcome to Utah! +1 on going to Manou Performance for the tune. Little bit of a drive, but it is well worth it! I'll be moving up there in a couple months, but I'll still make the drive for the only shops I let touch my car, Manou Perf. and Turbo Labs.

"Your car has a lot of understeer" No it doesn't you dumb ****, you're driving it like your 150 hp fwd VW, its a freaking Evo... I swear. Multiple times I had things like this happen from instructors back in the day. Some like 250 lb guy rode with me to pass me off for NASA lvl 4 and was commenting on how odd the car was driving... Yeah, driving odd because there's a fat man in the passenger seat.... Sigh.Plus, without the 70k markup on the Skyline how could I continue telling myself that the GT2 is better?

Oh, except the jackass instructors who don't know how to drive worth **** back when I started tracking it... Yeah but that's on a car people were reserving last year. The Evo X... there's freaking 5 of them on the lot? Seriously, bad sales tactics, but whatever. Even BMW isn't marking up the M3 or the 1s. I decided I want a girlfriend with a 135i convertible, so I can drive it, but don't have to pay for it and can keep the C4

I don't think I could ever find myself buying a car from a stealership in slc or vegasI love the gt2 & gt3's
