Greetings All,

To set the record straight, WORKS will not be providing a before and after Dyno chart for a stock EVO IX. Cams are just a portion of the modification path of the car. There is no reason, that Cams would be installed without supporting modifications, such as our P2 Flash, Exhaust, Throttle Body and Air Filter to name a few.

The pricing can be found on our website, but to make things easier, the cams along with Springs and Retainers are priced at $1,048. Please feel free to call us for an installation quote.

Oli - I think what most peeps are interested in is a before and after with all of the mods, except the cams, as a constant At least I am

Agreed, at least this way there is some basis as to what could be expected from them.

As am I. But with WORKS trying to hide results, I think I'll purchase mine elsewhere

Greetings All,

We can't provide results when we don't have any. We are installing the cams as we speak. The dyno is having some work done to it, so we can't even get in there until later this week. Results will be shared, since I don't think Cosworth has anything to hide, and I know that WORKS doesn't either. Sometimes I think some of you are looking to stir some things up... but remember, the automotive world gives you strong skin, so say what you all want.

Cheers,

Oliver Simons

I don't get it, if some of you think it's too expensive or doesn't trust WORKS, then don't buy it. It's that simple.

who grinds these cams? Does cosworth grind them or are they from another company?

I am just wondering why the cams come in only one grind when evo 8's come in many.

Also, why is the price double what evo 8 cams are? Cams are cams, shouldn't they be similarily priced?

have you taken your time reading the whole thread?

They are selling them as a package with their $399 spring / retainer set. The sale price for the cams is $649 = Cosworth suggested retail price. If you don't want the works spring /retainer set, you can go to their web page and just order the cams for 649$

You might be able to find the cams cheaper elsewhere, but Works has them in stock and were able to provide me a tracking number in less than 24hrs after receiving my order Do you guys really think that 649$ for a set of cams that just came out to the market is too much?
