Turbo kit?

Hey, I saw a guy post that Works is developing a Turbo Kit. Is this true? If so, I'd like some info on it.

Yes they are developing one - I saw it a month ago.

There is one that is *very* similar to what they are creating over at ATP Turbo. The best part is that the car looks STOCK until you look from underneath the car.

The ATP kit looks awesome and for the price you can't go wrong. I currently have the P2 and inhale so I would love to stick with WORKS products, but they have to price the kit competively.

Come on WORKS give us some clues, I want to be first in line.

i called them yesterday and that what i came up with. it will be realy close to ATP kit infact its the same turbo but it will be a complete turbo kit, that means injectors and flash and so on. about 360 whp to start. This turbo can boost up to 30 psi with no problems and they are only boosting up to 20 i think. looks stock. comes with 3" downpipe, injectors, turbo and everything else you need. i asked him about the price and he did not tell me. although i think it will be around $3500 for the hole thing to stay close to atp kit. I am going to buy one for sure and that will make my EVO low 11 sec.

Last I heard, it was still being tuned and it is getting closer to being ready for prime time. I saw them race with their shop car with the turbo kit over at Thunderhill Raceway in Northern Cal. It was a fast car even with the boost lowered. So I imagine with a higher boost level, this kit would turn your Evo into a beast.

If this thing is running 30psi and holding that boost level till fuel cut, well I think I would probably wet myself driving it.

I am sure I could run it at 30psi on the track with some 104 octane. If only I could run separate maps easily.

If it comes with everything, that would definitely be worthwhile.

Any Works official want to comment on this kit?
