Upgrading evo IV, or stay as is?
I was looking for more power out of my EVO IV. You can read the parts history below. But since I have some financial problems now, I'm not going on with my plan. I'm not going for a remap anymore (too expensive), but are some of the parts worth it to stick on my evo without the remap, as it has a mines ecu, which I read are specifically mapped for my car with the mods as were on the car at that time?
At this point, I'm wanting to sell ALL the collected parts and just enjoy my evo as is (drives great)... But if you tell me that it's absolutely worth it to put a certain part on the car from my 'collected list', please tell me!
I was thinking maybe keep the downpipe and decat, so the full exhaust system is 3 inch?
The IV came from Japan with the following mods: (running at 1,1 bar then)
- 3 Inch 5Zigen cat back system
- A’PEXi filter
- NGK BPR7EIS spark plugs
- Mines ECU
The past year i upgraded with the following parts: (now runs automatically at 1,2 bar)
- 2,5 inch decat
- Greddy type S BOV
- Hardpipe maf to turbo
- NGK BPR7ES spark plugs
Parts which I collected for upgrading in combination with remap (but now not going for a remap anymore):
- EVO VI ecu
- EVO VII injectors 560CC
- Walbro 255HP
- 3 Inch Toyo Sports Downpipe
- 3 Inch de-cat
