Can I use OEM headgasket with bored block?
Just had to get my block bored out 20 thousandths aka .5 mm. Planned on using the stock evo 8 OEM head gasket. Can I still use this head gasket after being bored 20 thousandths over?
If not, anybody wanna buy an oem HG?

Just to confirm what others have already stated, I just measured a new OEM Evo9 head gasket (not the same as an Evo8 HG) and according to my micrometer, the bores are 3.392" (86.157mm).
The thickness of the five layers (without the raised edges around the apertures) is about .040" (1.02mm); with the raised lips, it's .058" (1.47mm) but I don't know how much those areas crush down when the HG is installed.
