I can't believe how dedicated you are to do all of this work man! First the body kit and all the subtle exterior changes and now this! It's just incredible that you'll be the only one to have such a mod in your country. I love the engine cover that you got painted matte black. It just looks beautiful! I bet you can't wait to start her up huh? I think you're gonna have some fun with the engine.
Keep up the amazing work and post us some more pictures as you complete your project.

Not much happened today, waiting on parts that are due to arrive next week.
We did however do some more work on the catch can system, by test fitting the bracket carl made. He is taking it back to his shop tomorrow to paint it black and smooth it out.
We took of the oil pan that was fitted to the engine - as it differed from the one RA's have.
I'd bought the one that comes stock on RA's and we then put back on the original one instead of fitting the new one!
Why? Well, carl is an engineer and noticed the RA one was cheap metal designed to be broken in an accident - it also had a DEEP sump, making the sump close to the road.
The one that came on my engine - (it was meant to be fitted to an SUV), had a machined aluminium pan and sump, that was pretty well built and impressed car with its horizontal buldging sump, that contained the same space but instead of going down towards the road, buldged out sidways. We decided the original was best and didnt fit the new one.
Jobs left to do are:
Install proper driveaxles as 1.6 ones dont fit 2.4 transmission
Install MIVEC switch
Refill fluids
Start
Test
Fix rear camber bolt we stripped
Put body panels and hood back on
Create Custom crash bar.
Anywhow, heres the pics from today:

Today I put on the new rear badge obtained by my dealer which is for Euro 2.4's, even thoyugh at the moment they are unliekly to come to the UK.

Should be starting the car on thurs.

The badge is not the colt one that one says 1.5 MIVEC TURBO on it. This is one for the lancer and there is another one that says Ralliart Version-R 3.8 MIVEC. I think what they are doing is dropping the simple Ralliart name in Europe because you can go into any parts store and buy a ralliart badge... Ity started with the new Colt Ralliart Version-R and seems set to continue with the upcomming release of the 2.4 Lancer in europe, and the 2.4 ES and 3.8 Ralliart Version-R Eclipse (to be called FTO) here in March next year.
More about the badge:
1). I dont have the part number
2). I cant order any more because technically the 2.4 and 3.8 ones dont exist yet.
3). The salesman who sold me my car we became quite pally with, as he said they had some media for the 2.4 lancer to come in, a couple of months back along with the new iCar and Eclipse, and he said that this would include a badge for the back of the car, other parts that would have the logo on, some brochures and leaflets. He said if it came with a badge I could have it. It came with two badges, and a logo part for the gauge cluster! Mitsu UK often like to badge their cars differently - such as Shogun, Warrior, Animal, Evolution, Sport... He said that they are due to have packs in for the new eclipse which will include a badge/badges.
And thanks Rock for sending the stuff! Probably gonna need that Cat, and I went through my front tires in a few months after lowering with teins, so hopefully the camber correction bolts will help!

Today we looked at bleeding the clutch. We however now have a very spongey pedal! Any ideas? We only bled the slave cylinder maybe you have to bleed the master to. Im not familiar with clutch bleeding!
We also attach the oil outlet to the part of the engine where the oil filter previously mounted.
No starting yet, were waiting for our other parts.
