i am upgrading the injectors. I will be using stock wrx injectors, the light blue ones, which flow a good bit more than our stock ones. I am also only going to boost 4psi to start. I have datalogging capabilities on my car so I can monitor everything, and what I can't monitor yet I am adding new sensors and gauges for. kind of makes me wish I had gone with a datalogger rather than the cheap way, but that is the point of this thread. i really never anticipated going turbo with this car and didn't see the need for the extra equipment when I started looking at tuning for myself.
you are right, remember you can run any amount of boost you want and any amount of timing also but always monitoring EGT A/F ratios and Knocking. If it is safe to go do it. Also Dan a good thing to do is run the setup in 4 psi daily with a electronic boost controller and with a flip of a switch change to a 9 psi setup using alcohol injection to be more than safe. But you will need a good tuning. There were some PR guys running 15 psi on stock internals and stock ECU just trowing fuel with an additional fuel injector controller and a wideband I think you are capable of doing much more than this just take your time ..!!!!!

quick pic since I got the other two boxes tonight. I have to modify the turbo exhaust, build a downpipe extension, buy tons more stuff. I working on Saturday to help pay for some of it. I am going to schedule three days off so I have 5 to do the intall. I will take pictures and do a step by step DIY of the entire install. I have tons more research to do first, so I'm probably looking at the middle to the end of next month.
not to keep nagging you but now that you have the turbo what kind is it? curious b/c i wanted to know if its a quick spooling turbo and what your results are what kind of HP it maxes at and all of that good stuff.

Well, it's got the "T" emblem on the side of it. It's a T3/T4 hybrid. I am not sure what car it came off of, but I will need to do some modification to the compressor exhaust pipe. the turbo was on another manifold that vented the wastegate to the exhaust, but it doesn't line up with the mani and wastegate I have. I want to vent to the exhaust rather than the atmosphere, but I am concerned with backpressure issues. I have to make sure the wastegate exhaust pipe is large enough so I don't destroy the turbo, or my car for that matter. scary stuff man

The turbo is a hybrid and also he shouldn't have that much problems with lag since the intercooler is not that big and the engine has mid compression soo turbo lag will not be a problem ...

I know they came off his RA, that's why I changed the question. I was wondering what car the turbo was on originally, in other words where did he get it.
I waited until his cutoff date to give my final offer so he had a chance for a buyer to step up to his price, you should have paid the man

What are you planning on doing for engine managment?

why yes I do. I actually kind of created one buying the turbo kit. I have to work tomorrow, and I worked the last two Saturdays as well
