Cranswick, I'll stop by your place, we'll go out and talk about their turbo kit, let me know when I can drive your car, want to check out your coilovers and LSD... combining aforementioned activities with is good.

Would there be anyway we can use a TDO5 turbo? Customize the manifold and downpipe or a adapter? What type of turbo will this kit be using?

in the pic it appears to be a T3/T04 hybrid, meaning it has a T3 turbine housing, and a T4 compressor...A T3 turbine usually is on the small side, so it spools pretty quick, but the larger compressor of the T4 will push a lot of air. But i could be wrong, Brent can verify.

because of the orientation of the T3 flange, you can buy T3 to TD05 adapter plates, but in doing that, you now have to make major changes to your downpipe. Because, A. your turbgo now sits lower by the thickness of the plate. B. the outlet flange on a mitsubishi turbo is way different. The T3/T04 hybrid seems like overkill to me, because of the size of the compressor, but it is a very popular turbo for the same reason i think it's overkill at 8 psi. It will spool like a small turbo, and push like a big one...There would be no advantage to having a TD05 turbo...

To run a TD05 mitsubishi turbo, you would need the RRM manifold, or something like this:

That's mazda, we go "wuah ba ba ba ba ruaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" Or that's what mine does since the reflash, lol.

sounds good Brent...Can't wait to see it all come together. might want to get that LSD before snowfall, i'm excited for my first winter on LSD.

I'm slowly getting the fabricating out of the way, i'll probably be finishing up the build, and getting tuned in the spring. Like this year i had to wait for my tax return to get the reflash done, LSD and clutch etc., it'll probably be the same situation next year.

Mine's internally gated at 9psi, but we'll have to race again, it will be interesting to see how it compares to yours. I'll probably feed the wastgate pre intercooler, so i imagine i'd end up with about 7 or 8psi at the manifold. I guess time will tell.

Finally...how many years did it take them to figure out some people just need a manifold and will figure the rest out themselves?!?!

Still on the pricey side, and i've heard some things about build quality, but at least it's a step in the right direction...

I still made my own for $110, and i'm pretty happy about that...screw RRM, lol!
