I saw the notice in my email that there was a post on this thread.

My first words were "this is very exciting." Then I went to page four, and read CrAnSwIcK's post...the very same words.

The big news is the tuning capabilities. If this works like I believe it will, then forced induction will be available for those of us that depend on our cars for daily drivers.

This is epic. I had to buy a turbo vehicle to keep up with most, when my heart was still set in modifying my RA. If this works out and is dependable this will be a break through and open up this platform.

it works fine. this is the production version of an already built and working custom kit, that is going retail, and there's no question of tuning, Hackish is the man...

Can't wait to see some numbers. Whats going to be used for an ECU? Will we have an option for either a standalone or piggyback, or just the piggyback?

Hackish despises piggybacks , it will be tuned using the factory ecu with a custom reflash

What I've gathered from following the discussions about Hackish's efforts with this program is that the tuning won't be dependent on Hackish to be "hands on". I think that it will be user tunable from the baseline tune that it comes with. If I'm wrong about that, now is a good time to clarify how this system is going to work.

It makes me nervous to be dependent on one person to make the car truly drivable. Look at the trouble that Ralliart on LSD had with his build. The car is ready for tuning/driving and he's ready to bail out on the whole project.

Obviously I wouldn't expect to make a DD out of a 500 hp car, but the poor guy can't even drive the car.

For me, if I want an extra 20 hp from some NA bolt-ons, a cam and some porting and exhaust work, or decide to run 8-12 lbs of boost on a DD without having only one person in the entire world tune it, then it would be just the ticket.

this is basically the same kit that Brent (ottralliart05) had been running, prior to the super charger. We've all seen it working, and now what they're doing is taking the finished production kit and fine tuning it so they the vendor can supply that tune with the kit, so it will all be plug and play, bolt-on and go. I would imagine it would be a lot like your factory tune, in that the car will run very good in a wide range of climates. I've said this somewhere before, but with software in hand any good tuner will be able to do it. If one were to increase boost pressure.

I understand. I had decided that I was going to keep my engine totally stock (except maybe a throttle body if I found a cheap one). Now I'm considering adding some boost.

I wouldn't mind a supercharger over a turbo. I'm not looking for ultimate power, but would hope to get a more linear powerband. I had a 3.4 L tacoma with the eaton supercharger, and I loved how it had instant torque at any speed. I could be cruising along in 5th gear at 1800 rpm, and as soon as I tipped in some throttle it would pull hard.

I would really like an eaton on my 4g69. There are people that buy the smaller eatons from thunderbird supercoupes or the GM V6 cars, and build a custom mount to install the blower on the front of an engine blowing into a custom manifold that feeds a heat exchanger, or in the back on a custom intake. I've seen a few hondas set up this way (what doesn't get done to Hondas?).

Great to hear all the talk. As Crans said this is a production of a custom kit that I ran on my car for over a year with no issues other than I was going through tires, my bad.

So far I have removed the supercharger and left the car as stock as possible. I have installed the injectors that were supplied with the kit, I can tell you the install went very smooth, if you have a little bit of mechanical knowledge the install will be a breeze. Hack needs to test the injectors (car started up on the first few cranks) then I can install the kit. Having said that I am doing the install in my home garage not the shop. This is being done to see the level of difficulty installing the kit. So far the only real pain in the butt has been the exhaust as it is difficult to get the car up high enough for me, lets say i am fairly thick and its difficult for me to maneuver under the car but I got it done.

LOL! Brent that actually made me laugh aloud, when i pictured you under a small car on jack stands...for those that don't know why that's so funny, Brent has the build of someone you wouldn't want to be mad at you...I can't wait to see this in your car man, it's so damn shiny.

Oh and you missed the last test and tune of the season tonight in Shannonville...car ran like a champ, i got my launch down, and ran a 15.3...twice to back up the first one...and 15.4's all night long. It was great.

Injectors for the kit installed yes the bay looks crappy but where I live we have snow and lots of it....and salt on the roads and lots of it...but the injectors with the spacers provided are a direct fit.
