Its not even the loud that bugs me. Its the tone it sounds like a phyco weed wacker.. lol. not a biggie I'm haveing a magnaflow high flow cat welded in tomarrow. but the fact i had to spend more to make it rite is what i didnt like. They could of gotten high flow cats on e-bay for like 30bucks and welded them into this system and there would of been no cell problem, no buzzing problem and there would still be a nice gain. any many more happy customers.

Just throw on the rrm axleback and your set, no need for a downpipe.

Then what would have been the point of our downpipe? It hs been discussed that the downpipe is loud and sounds horrible but what kind of axleback do you have, or do u have a muffler, or even a custom catback at all? If you use our axleback combined with our downpipe, the set up actually sounds good. Also, you bought the downpipe knowing that it causes cel and that it doesn't come with a cat. There seems to be more happy customers with the product, and love it the way it is.

i think people just see the dp and want it and stop reading everything about it, the cel, noise, no cat, if you buy the dp you should just , get a resonator, new muffler, and hot-to's to fix the cel i heard sound clips but this is what you bought the dp for is power which is gonna make your car louder, have you ever seen 500hp quiet car???

Yeah, plus ask questions man...
Post up on here BEFORE buying, or get opinions...
Also ask RRM if that's the case... They're more than willing to answer questions... I've asked millions of quetsions on almost everything I've bought if I wasn't sure about anything... It's your car you're worried about, so it's not like people view it as a "dumb question" because we all know how important our cars are to us!!

I plan on it, once the time comes.

The only mods I have planned are downpipe, catback (I'd like to make the combo as quiet as possible), and I'm still trying to decide between CAI or the SRI modded to our stock intake to force air in. I figure that with those mods, I'll get some more power, get better gas mileage, and still be able to fill up with regular.

Make sure you're have a cat or another resonator for the DP because it's going to be loud... no matter what!!!

I have a video of my car running an autoX with the downpipe on, so you can hear it throughout the RPM range (just downpipe + axleback, no extra resonators). I'll see if I can get it uploaded when I get home tonight and share it.

Dudes!!!! my main problem was not with the down pipe you must not of read my post or something. there were other things that made me unhappy about the transaction. like the guy who I talked to on the phone telling me it would only take around 9 days. The part was on back order for a month. I'm not going to retype the the hole thing agian but $$ per hp gain. I dont think its worth it. I had no questions! I knew it would be loud just didnt know it would sound like a chain saw.

That would be great, I would really appreciate it!

Do you have any clips with a stock setup for comparison?

Hey, did you ever get one of our emails, saying that they had been sold out??? And we thought we were going to get more but the shop that fabricates them for us was in a moving process. Anyways, we will work on our customer service more. Constructional criticism is good.
