I wish every company would clips of the exhaust that they sell. For me the sound is almost if not just as important as the power gains.

 

Yeah but is a few horsepower worth having your car sound like crap and obnoxiously loud? For me it sure wouldnt be, but thats just me.

 

I got my down pipe and installed it yesterday in about a hour. It came with no instructions and was packed poorley. I cant bleave it was not damaged. The down pipe was just thrown in a box with a lil buble rap on the ends.. lol. I'm a lil disapointed with the product. Its made my car sound really bad!! I'm not one to care about how loud my car is but this thing BUZZs so loud it makes my car feal like a pos when I'm driving it. I went to muffler man today and now I have to spend an extra 120.oo to get ride of the BUZZ sound. seeing that I allready spent 325.oo's on the thing that makes a grand total of 445.00 I've spent and I cant feal any differance in power. I ran a few runs with my G-force meter and my times went from 6.77 0-60 to a 6.72 0-60.
It all took a month to get here witch would be fine but the guy that I talked to when I orderd it told me it should take around 9 days. becuase of that I felt they should of upgraded the shipping for me for free sence they told me it would be here sooner than it was but they didnt they still charged me and extra 25.00 for it! The last thing that sorta topped the cake was I asked for a free road//race decale when I orderd the down pipe and they told me sure they will send a silver one and never got it. It seems like thay would wannna get there name out there and give them out with everything they sell anyways. but nope. I guess they dont want poeple to think that the buzz sound is comming from a road race down pipe or something.
I dont want it to sound like I'm trying to bash road race. I'm sure they make good products and I'm sure this dose not happen to many people but with the service I got I dont think I'll be buying from them again. This is a really big bummer they make alot of parts I need to

 

That's my point. Because it will be making a big difference in how you car sounds you would think that right along with a picture would be a sound clip. ****, in many respects a sound clip is more important than a picture. Not like people can see the exhaust anyway, it's under the car.

 

well i felt a little gain and my 0-60 times are not like yours, im still in the 8's but the buzzing noise you will eventually forget about it not unless you got rid the noise. if so tell me how. Get ready for a CEL coming on don't know how long but mines it happened within two days. Road Race is a great company but yea they need to work on their packaging cause they packed it the same way with me. No directions, no gaskets, even no bolts. and its funny you asked about the decals cause i did the same thing and they said sure no prob. never got it. i called about it along with the no gaskets and bolts and they said use the same gaskets and bolts it should be good. than i kinda fussed a bit than they sent me some bolts a month later. so no decals with that package also as they claim they was gonna. but im still gonna purchase their parts cause no one else does mostly so just give them a break. you got what you ordered so thats all that matters
