overall gains depend on the mods you have...

if you are basically stock a 4-1 header WILL rob you from tq and give you little hp (maybe 3-5)
if you have a dump loads of mods maybe form 6 to 10

thats the general rule on a 4-1 header depends on mods

It is interesting to see how many people say that a aftermarket header will not be worth it and results will be minor..... I am just wondering out of all of these comments how many of you have actually taken the stock ones off there cars and had a close look at the design of it... I am sure that if you have taken it off you would of seen the inherent restrictions on them....

15- 20 hp would be a dream but I would not be expecting that... and it is too hard to say how much these are going to give in terms of hp and nobody is going to give a figure until the dyno has been done.

What I am hoping for is that the extractors will help with cleaning up the torque hopefully the torque line will come up earlier and quicker and stay longer rather than how it is now - not sure if you have seen the dyno sheet on my car, but it does not hold max torque for very long and it is extremely eratic.

I do believe that RPW are just waiting on the 4th prototype to come back this is supposed to be happening on tuesday next week then once they have been fitted up the car gets to the dyno for some numbers which I think is wednesday but I am wanting the car on friday to do better race times my last race time was only 15.9sec I am seriously hoping that we can see a vast improvement on that and we could be looking at 15.5

We're all waiting to see what improvements it yeilds. Have you considered a nitrous system or are you going to try and keep the turbo kit? I'd imagine the full exhaust would help out w/ a nitrous system as well. You get a real nice flat torque curve on the juice

I like the thought of a nitro system but... I think I would be irrasponsible with it
The turbo...hmm I am still not sure if that is what I am going to be wanting... I have seen RPW's work with turbos and the results and finished product is outstanding... (other model cars) I like N/A I can't get into too much trouble with it... also after last year when I wrote off my Skyline R33 to say it scared me is an understatement...

I will just wait and see but I am keen to see n/a getting 200+hp

Holy Hell, 15.9 with mods? Aren't there stock RAs in the states that are running low 15s stock?

Her mods for those times were an exhaust and a strut tower brace...so very near stock... unless of course I'm mistaken, we haven't seen the track times or dynos for any of the recent mods done by rpw yet.

Wow, that is incredibly expensive. So for the full package, they want $793.00, does that even include shipping? Thank's for the laughs... but im not spending $793 for 15whp.

Im sure RRM would be much lower than that and if so, say good bye to any customers RPW.

*IF* their header outperforms the rrm header, most people (I believe) would rather the performance king, not the budget solution...I would anyway. Not that it matters because I'm going with their stage 1 turbo kit (rpw's) as it is over 1K less (although not as feature rich, at least it gives me a stage to work with for cheap).

Well if you'd read that post in it's entirety, you'd allready know the answer to the shipping question. It was another.. what... 15 words later? No one is saying you have to buy it with HPC coating, no one is saying you have to buy it at all! If you want just a header you can shave a couple hundred dollars off of that price too btw. That's for a (one more time class....) Header (yes very good what else?), downpipe, (very good! Almost done now.) and a highflow cat-cat-cat-(sound it out now) cat-a-lyt-ic converter! YEAH!!!! In case you price things out a good highflow cats runs about 200 bucks not 20 bucks for a honda resonator on ebay. For the sanity of all concerned could you please read an entire thread before leapfrogging ahead with a response? Especially when the answer is in the SAME post. As far as the cost of the HPC goes, if you don't want to pay that much, find a local to do it for you instead or don't get it at all. RPW is one of those companies that will let you buy pieces if you can't afford the whole thing.

You misinterpret my post, while you don't have to have all the bells and wistle for this product, I did say that 793.00 for the whole entire package is expensive. No, I don't have to buy it, yes, this is a public forum were im allow to express my opinion. If you want to spend $800 on a bling, bling looking mod that gives you 15whp, more power to you. Im not, and im expressing that opinion, don't like that... TUFF LUCK, read over my post. Also learn how to use punctution, that paragraph was an eyesore.
