which wire are you using? you can get the signal from two places for the tach, straight from the tach signal wire or from the crankshaft sensor wire. either way you need an o-scope to set up the sensors from scratch, or you have to know what the square-waveform is supposed to do.
two big issues with our car and piggyback units: the tach signal is difficult to read from the sensors either because the signal strength is low or because the signal is abnormal(not sure which at this point, my SMT unit arrived defective,) and the MAF sensor is a karmen vortex type that operates on frequency instead of voltage. well, that's two that relate to your question.

Hello Face
I recently installed the Road Race Piggy back and zeitronix wideband on my 04 Ralliart. I am not able to data log my RPM or TPS through the software and I can't connect to my ECU through the Split second program. It attempts to connect through com port 6 but says "unable to connect to ECU."
Can anyone tell me the process of connecting and datalogging? Any help would be great.
Thanks
