R4 printout

Hi,

Attached is a printout of a recording made using the R4 software that comes with the RoadRace piggyback ECU.
Is it normal the yellow line is flat? I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you,
EMM

Ok so i just read all 17 pages and i still feel like i need to research more on the tuning process( i haven't installed it yet i bought it used V2). Anyways my question relates to the engine timing box. I understand it retards and advances cam timing but ive been discussing it w/ other members and they were saying it would lean me out. The person i bought this from had fewer breather mods than i do and didnt have the box so i know that i will be running to lean on his tune. I was wondering if anyone with a wideband has maybe a conservative tune to start with that i can use or maybe that super conservative one dan put up early in the thread will work. I understand its my car and my responsibility just wanted a more experience opinion. I do plan on buying a wideband im just saving up the money. It will be a great hobby in the winter.

Rory clearing up a few things for you...i ran the timing box simultaneously with the piggy. the timing box is designed to advance your timing, thus requiring higher octane fuel, I highly doubt you have to worry about it leaning you out. My car was never starved for fuel. To be honest I'm not sure how much better your AFR could get tuning for the just the p&p intake mani vs the tune on the piggy. The piggy had on about 4 different maps before this map was optimally built for most N/A mods. If you got the RRM or RPW stage 1 cam, that's a whole different story. Contact RRM for more technical details, they may be able to get you your answer much faster.

Nah I doubt they'd consider it wasting their time. They really are the pioneers for the RA aftermarket scene.

it's soooo fast. My torque band is rediculous. Check out this option dan for tuning. It seems smart to me

Hey guys what do you think about this. It's like a 3d dyno. Im sure you could insert dyno logarithms into a seperate program and you could tune this car. Idk if its feasible but it seems in the long run cheaper than buying a wideband kit or using a tuner
