LOL, thanks for the Cliffs Notes!

I might consider the cam too if I can get someone local to help me out with a tune! Of course I'd pay for the time.

The Camshaft does good, but needs a possible tune.. Ralliart234(?) thinks he gained about 10 whp and a "buttload of tq"
The pricing for the parts is right, given the amount of hours spent on research and development and labor. I work in a firm that makes 95% of the electric hookups for trailers on trucks/suvs/etc. The amount of hours that it put into just an o-ring design and its seating position is insane. So imagine a full head job or a camshaft. Granted they're in different fields (engine vs accessories) they both require a pretty decent amount of time and commitment, along with which comes pricing.

RRM will no longer be R&D on new parts for the lancer RA but will continue to manufacture parts until demand dissapears.

A lot of arguing about pricing, and quality. I think everyones made up and kissed by now though...

Yes it would. More than half of our customers never heard of EVOM though. I will try to my hands on it though.

Yeah thats a shame, I know what you mean though.

There would probably be like a few good number of RA owners who have never heard of EVOm either.

Like I know this guy in Australia (on a diff. Mitsu forum) who bought an AEM CAI for $489 AUD which is about $400-435 USD. He went directly to AEM. Don't think he even knew about RRM or RPW! Yikes!

Perhaps with every Mitsubishi service, installation, tune, dyno give them a pamphlet with www.evolutionm.net.

So they can be updated on products

Id buy the cam this month if I Knew whether you needed to mess with the timing belt to install it? Do you?

Or is it just a case of taking off the valve cover, unbolting a few things and sliding the cam out the side of the oil control valve?

I basically would be installing it myself, but I dont want to mess with timing belt just yet.

Well if you were careful you should not have to adjust timing when you install. Just refer to this for an 'idea'...

if you have the service manual it should state how to put the engine's crank in tdc and the cam in the correct position.... is quite easy if you have the manual is "match the marks"

the resto of the install is basic
