If you need parts check out the mitsubishi section of http://www.vw-auto-parts.com

Thats where I get my new parts from. Not everything is expensive.

Sorry, I think you've misunderstood. The Trailing arm for AWD will NOT work for FWD also. The whole point of me getting the new outlander trailing arm, is because the Lancer one (and the FWD Outlander one) uses a built in spindle (fake axle) to attach the hub to. The AWD Outlander one has a big hole for the wheel bearing and real axle.

You'll have to buy the NON-AWD trailing arms (Lancer or Outlander) otherwise you wont be able to re-attach your hub unless you actually have AWD.

The final batch of parts arrived today. All I need now is the tranny and I can start work!

Today I got: Front Axles and output shafts, Rear Hubs, Rear Wheel Bearings, ABS Sensors, AWD Tranny rear mount, various nuts and bolts.

Rear AWD tranny mount (only one that differs from FWD)

Rear Hub with spline for axle.

The whole lot!

Front Axles and Output Shafts!

I guess that depends on whether the current 4G63 block is the same as the Evo 5 one. There have been a couple of alterations to the 4G63 over the years.

dosnt a ralliart have a 4g69 engine? I would assume that the tranny for the 4g63 would simply not "fit" the 4g69...

honestly let Diavlo continue this thread...if you are going to put an EVO tranny on your ralliart...either start a new thread or buy a (insert AWD car here).
He has been very clear what is needed, and has included parts list earlier in the thread...

I've just checked and the Evo tranny wont fit unless you custom mount the starter motor. The rest is the same because it is the 4G6x block.

The Ralliart start motor is at the front top, and I believe the Evo starter is front bottom.

good luck with the conversion I also aspire to do the same, screw those guys "just by an Evo" not to spark a debate because we all know that the Evo is a great car what I don't like is that some owners just bought the car and think they're the shiznit for having a fast car that they just got a loan for. There is no passion there, I mean in time I'm sure their will be but for the most part no passion, it's like back in the day when people with civics would smoke a car that's waaaayy more expensive and it's a good feeling. Not to mention that your insurance and payments for an RA or OZ will be alot less than an Evo's payments

Encase anyone is wondering Ive scheduled to order the transmission on August 1st. Thats the last part I need.

In the mean time I've got to find some new Rims to match the new 5x114.3 bolt pattern at the rear.
