The UK lancer is a bit of a mish-mash, it comes with 4 lugs, but has the ralliarts four wheel disk brakes, and numerous other features such as the strut bar.
Anyhow - changing to 5 lug, is simply a case of changing the hub and wheel bearings. I could change the front to 5, but theres no point really. I'll just buy 2 4x114.3 rums and 2 5x114.3 rims.
Im really anxious to get started on this now - I want it done for the summer!

be careful keeping the 4's in front,
propper tire rotation will be a bit of a hassle since your cant go from front right to back left... or you will be changing front tires quite a bit more frequently than back.
Cant do front left to rear right wheel rotation anyway.
In the UK there is a tyre law which states that tread on tyres must be directional and point a certain way.
Therefore tyre rotation in that way would mean the tread would point the wrong way and wouldnt dispell water.
So we have to swap front left to rear left to keep the tread direction the same.

so the awd mod will at least save you some cash on tires,
