Were gonna do engine bay side first and work towards the back.

Off the top of my head it should go somat like:

1). Transmission dropped, Engine out, remove head, install new head, send RRM old head.
2). Remove Exhaust
3). Swap Fuel Tank
4). Swap rear trailing arms, bearings and hubs
5). Once RRM get my head they'll send me the cam as the core with a little extra money I send them...
6). Install new Cam and timing belt
7). Position transfer case on tran jack
8). lift transmission into place with another jack
9). Replace engine bolt everything up
10). Install probshaft
11). Rear Diff and custom work to mount that (the only custom work I forsee).
12). Re-route exhaust
13). Install Axles and Wheels

I've probably forgot a lot of that list!

I anticipate well spend a month doing all this in our spare time.

Incidentally, today I did some custom work in my car.. I installed 5 Rostra Seat Heater kits and put the switches in the doors, looks nice, feels good. May take some photos tomorrow as they look stock! Also blocked off the floor vents and routed air to two vents which ive placed into the rear center console in place of the ashtray to give rear air con, as I often have to use my car to lug 5 people around! Yeah I'll post some photos of that tomorrow.

My heated seat switches! I quite like the ones in the door! Perfect for the UK's cold winters!

by the time your car is done it's going to be the luxury model of mitsu... heated seats AND AWD 2.4L Turbo...

Got anymore pictures of the interior? Who was the donor for the heated seats?

I have Leather Recaros in the front and normal leather seats in the back, but it was an aftermarket seat heated kit I used on each seat. You just place the heated pad under the cover of the seats. Not too difficult really.

Did you order a sub frame to mount the rear diff off the outlander or are you going to custom make one out of the current sub frame? I know you said they where welded or something?

We'll burn that bridge when we get to it! We'll first see if there is any way to mount the diff with the stock frame, if not, I'll order the outlander one.

I have a confession to make guys... This month I was supposed to buy the RRM head, thus triggering the start of work on this project... But instead, I decided to book a holiday! So I'll get the head next month instead.

Sorry for the delay, I know many of you are anxious to see how this goes. Dont worry though, Its happening soon.

You can't just get up and say, you know, I think I'll book a holiday. No, the answer is no, I won't allow it. Lol just kidding, I've never heard anyone "book a holiday" before, must be some of that weird canada talk.

Haha, I try my best to speak "American" when on here... Like "Trunk" instead of "boot", "hood" instead of "bonnet", "gas" instead of "accelerator", "Fenders" instead of "Arches" and "Gasoline" instead of "petrol"

But "Book" a "holiday" I never though would be different!

Arrange a Vacation? Is that the American way!?
