pics work at home. That looks like alot of work, how long did it take to disassemble everything? That's quite a big difference on the exhaust side, sounds like there is lot's of room for improvement. Can't wait to see your results, this will be great.

Valve train took me half hour to disassemble without the mitsubishi special tool heheh but it's worth it , head is in work now by a friend and I think I will receive it by this next Wednesday ... Camshaft is being regrinded and in a few days I will start a new thread on the benefits of a lightened stock flywheel versus the aluminum one .... COMING SOON hehehehe

Let us know how the regrind goes, what lobes are you modifying? Agressive or mild?

There are only three lobes the one in the middle is the one that I want to modify cause it's the high lobe the other side ones are the low lobes which have different lifts, they keep one valve open with the most lift and the other valve semi open (less lift) so that low end torque remains. mitsubishi did a good research, when they tried not to activate the mivec they found that the point in which torque decreased was in the 3500rpms so theres when they applied the high lobe , THE HIGH LOBE is the only one that should be modified , if you have CAI PORTED HEAD AND INTAKE MANIFOLD you definitively need to only touch the HIGH lobe not the secondary lobes only the HIGH lobe the one in the middle . If you touch the other two you will have weird idle problems

I'm getting a camshaft done, and the lobes that will be modified will be from mivec onwards, high lobes.

Primary lobes won't be touched.

You doing an aggressive profile?

Yep I need a little more overlapping cause my engine will move a crazy AMOUNT of air once past 3500 because of the porting and the intake

Was that sarcasm or ..?

You can never tell on the internet these days. I think "im sureeeeeeeeee you will" or "im 'sure' you will'" falls in the category.
Okay anyway, back on topic!
