We know why it acting this way and we know who to fix it. It will get fixed.....

There is operating routine that is slightly different on cyanide's ecu than the tester we used. Hack found it and its an easy fix, actually its fixed and ready when the ecu gets here.

As i said before this is new technology and there are bound to be a few hickups here and there that is way it took so long to rellease the reflash publicaly. This ECU is not like any Hack has seen before and he has been doing this for over 10 years.

The way I see this I would like to keep some issues between the customer and us but at the same time I think this is a good thing in a way. The bottom line is with specific reflash there was a problem (specific to ROM this rom id as this was the first one we did Mitsu went ans changed something mid way through the production year) we know it and we are doing something to fix it. Hopefully that will make future clients assured that we stand behind our products.

Brent is it safe to the assume that the software will automatically recognize all different ecu versions, etc.?

I am all about public discussion, but don't want to lose sight of the core technical issue. **** I already bought a tactrix cable already in anticipation of this software. My hope is to get 175whp and 180wtq on my N/A setup. I have no aftermarket cam nor cam gear...BUT I think the torque goal is reachable on my N/A set-up due to me having the 2-1 downpipe set-up. On the 4-1 set-up I wouldn't be as optimistic.

This may all be a pipe dream as well.

Been what.... 2 years + of you guys trying to reflash the ECU. and still alot of problems, and it not available for mass distrubution yet. Sucks, dont it?

question.... How many hours, total do you guys have invested in this. R+D labor, paper work, thinking about it, and talking about it on forums. how many hours? Just wondering.

Probably too much. This is what dedication is all about.

That is exactly it we are still at it and there is still more to do. At this point the rom is done. As far as NA tunes 2004-2006 goes they are ready now. What is next are a few features such as launch control (that is done its was an example)

Hackish will be posting on 4g.

Ralliart_on_LSD we have spent many hours on this as the first in the world to do this and it being uncharted area there are bound to be a few kinks to work out. It is ready for mass production has been for a while the turbo application is what is being worked on now.

We have 2 new customers from out west that are working with us because they want to rid the 5th injector because of the problems they are having. Once this project is done then we will launch the kit for others that may want to go with that type of set up.

Where are the dedicated Lancer dudes that know how to read disassembled roms and know xml. Every other performance car community has these people.. is the lancer community really that small? I wouldn't have thought so.

I'm relatively new in this arena, my life has been spent modding my ACVW whereas my Ralliart has been my daily driver. But what I can tell from this community is that most are casual drivers of the car, like myself.

The EVO community is way more advanced and open to sharing because of the power gains within that model and the status of that car. It's a different group of people, more shops dedicated to EVO and way more product for the EVO than a Ralliart.

We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

Untill now the average Ralliart owner has been very limited to what mods you can do. Now since Hackish has done what he has done the door is now wide open. Take my car for example anyone else can say thy are running a boosted 4g69 with a reprogrammed ecu reflash....not to mention it has been done with both a turbo and a supercharger....Not bragging, ok maybe bit, but I do believe this is only the beginning......

No doubt, definitely progress is being made and I truly salute Hackish and you for being the pioneers along with the others who have given up their rides for development. It's painstakingly hard at times, seems like you've take 1 step forward and several back at times, but the bottom line is progress is being made.

If it was development was easy, everyone would be doing it, but the reality is, it's a difficult process.

on a side note:
How would one go about inquiring about obtaining a reflash?
