what you have is a late model 05 and an ecu from a early production 06. The second production went can-bus. It will start but that's about it.

Look at the drivers side door for the "tag" it will have a production date. Chances are you are can-bus the early production for the Canada Mitsu tech said there were not many non can-bus produced.

As cyanide mentioned the caer started but there was no response and the idle was weak.

after 2.5 - 3 years is this thing ready to be sold yet? More importantly. 3 years of R & D how much money is this going to cost? 2000 $$ to make your time invested in it worth it? I got a feeling, with all the time you have invested, this is going to be such a low selling flop, than even after you sell your 10 units, the customer service will not be there. Not making enough money off it, not worth the headache. Am i right? I mean hell, i could be wrong. but after 2.5 years of talking about it, i'd like to see more than just 2 on the road. Just my .02

Before you guys start crying over my post. I didnt say ITS NOT GOING TO WORK. So please stop the drama before it starts. i'm saying its taking way to long. This is why no other company wasted their time with it.

After 1 year of road and dyno testing, I finally sold mine. Didn't even get half of what I spent, but the pain is over.

The guy that bought it only checked for the rev limit and launch control. He offered $350, so I took it and didn't look back.

They've been offering dyno charts and video of results for the past year, but all we got were some road tests to show AFR, rev limit and launch control. I went through several test cars, many dyno runs and I never got what was offered, even after following the conditions required from them.

The Lancer has already been redesigned, so it would be better to let it be and continue forth on to better things.

Basically, I'm saying "Goodbye and good riddance" to the "Ralliart Hackish reflash thread". These are my last words on this thread, so be sure to check out my previous posts for dyno graphs and comments.

Goodbye, and take care!

Lol....It's been available for more than a year bro. They just aren't vendors here so they can't advertise here etc. You'll have to talk to the main man behind the scenes. As for customer service, I've had a pretty good experience with them so far, with a custom tune to come once I get my cam, p&p head, portmatched IM etc. installed.. Hackish has been pretty quick to reply to my emails sometimes within minutes.

A friendly discussion will be permitted but keep it as that ladies and gentlemen, this is everyones warning. Thank you.

yeah, RalliartN and I just had ours done on saturday...I've been playing with it quite a bit, as last time i played with it was just for a short ride to subway with michael...so far i did around 700km 600 or so were highway...i'm not going to waste my money on a dyno run, i have other things to spend money on...like my custom turbo build, which is the reason i had the reflash done in the first place...now i can only speak for myself when i say i don't give a **** about N/A hp gains on a dyno, all i know is it definately does not feel like it's losing power...i've said before with my initial thoughts about the short teaser sample i was given that the power does NOT dip off approaching the rev limit like it does at stock, it feels like it's pulling harder, fuel economy is at worst unchanged, but maybe a bit better i drive 600km every weekend and do the same speed, same highway, with the same amount of fuel...FULL...and i did actually burn a tad bit less gas according to the fuel gauge, by about 1/8 of a tank...but there are other factors that could cause that...like braking and accelerated when slower vehicles are encountered, so that's why i say unchanged at the very worst...

Car sounds slightly different...more of a cleaner sounding, bassy kind of tone...and the new rev limit, and launch control just adds to the fun...it would be nice to see it on paper, but at the end of the day, it just feels better to drive...

My car is still stored in the garage and will be on the road in a couple weeks now that winter salt is almost gone. I will issue a full report on performance then. My engine, intake, exhaust are stock except for the ECU reflash.

I would recommend to anyone a trip to talk to hackish and OttRalliart in their natural shop environment. If you weren't quite sure about PSI Tuning's technical and business capabilities because of reading some of the strange murky unclear postings by others in this forum, I can say these guys are the real deal and at the top of their game.

Since you have an '06 as well, did you ask if they where still any bugs with re-flashing the '06 ECU?

michael would have mentioned if there were any known issues, that i might have to report back on...back in the fall of 2010 i sent him some emails about it, to see if he still needed an 06 guinea pig, and at that time he told me all the bugs were worked out for the 06...so the short answer is no...everything works great...

Every tune is tested on the same year vehicle.

2004 Was tested on a local person from our local Mitsu Club
2005 My car NA, Turbo and now Supercharger.
2006 A friend of mine loaned us his car (he is also buying the supercharger kit)

They are all road tested for drive-ability and dyno-ed for performance. With 2 of the cars we are glad we road tuned them after the dyno. Although all cars had roughly the same gains 2 of them needed some adjustments to make the drive a bit smoother, the hp and tq curves do not tell the full story.

Note to Cranswick and RalliartN was great to see meet you guys was a lot of fun. FYI we found the idle issue with the supercharger, we were sent a different version of the charger took Hack 15 mins to recalculate a few tables and she was nice and smooth.

Cyanide:

With all due respect we were in contact with you about the issues we were having dealing with the company that supplied us the hardware BEFORE Hackish finished HIS software. Your flash was the 5th and final flash that went out using that system and the first with the new software. The other company gave us an update that has proven to be faulty and they never fixed it setting us back about 6 months in development. You were gracious enough to send the ecu back to us and give us a chance to fix the issues (only problem is we do not know if other were effected by the other companies firmware update) and I and Hack both said it may be a bit until you get the ecu back and once it was done the ecu was sent back. Maybe we could handled things a bit better and I am sorry it worked out for you the way it did but we did our best under the circumstances.

Nick's (RalliartN) RA lives in his garage every winter...from what i gathered it's in mint condition, he only brought his ECU...I however drive the **** out of mine year round...Brent's RA is pretty slick, solid too, and f*ing fast even with the idle issue...i think his (brent's) was dirtier on the outside, but mine is a sh*t pit on the inside and also kinda dirty...

btw brent, those evo seats were very accepting of my scrawny ***...but i can see how a guy who's shoulders are 3 feet wide would not be fond of them..

Hopefully some members from ontario can make it to shannonville this year for some 1/4mile action, we'll definately have to take pics then...

I am glad you guys had a good time and once you get some dates I will be at Shannonville for sure. As you can see my not so skinny butt has issues with the seats. I will be upgrading them this summer. Thank you for the complement on the car, it is fun to say the least, Hack did a fantastic job on it.
