I have not heard back from Delta. When it comes down to it, we need a re-tune. No if and or buts about it.

Delta is easier to get a hold of via phone than email.

whenever the software is released I'll be all over getting a custom tune, but until then we have to just work around it. Hopefully it comes out this year

Same here, when i finish my turbo build, i'll take the car up to ottawa for a good base tune, but after that i would like to have the ability to tweak some things here and there.

Finally I had a chance to go to the track with Lanzerralliart and got a video of how I lose power to the point it doesn't want to shift into the next gear. It's not that good, a lot of movement but you can get the idea.

I don't think you will be able to resolve that issue without a custom tune. The auto tranny is much more complex and with the torque converter you're looking at alot of variables.

The thing is that if he let's off the gas it a bit , then punches it , it will speed up no problem. It only does this if he keeps his foot to the floor the whole time.

I need to do some research on all data. The way you describe it is leading me to believe it's rpm or vacuum related.

Vacuum is what we think is the culprit, apparently old muscle cars had the same problem and had to have a canister for more vacuum.

I'll look at some diagrams for the auto tranny system and see what I can come up with.

Dacib,

I've gone through all the AT inspection procedures so far but nothing really matches what your exact symptom.

My now better understanding of the auto tranny is leading me to believe the symptom is oil pressure related. The auto tranny has it's own ecu and oil cooler piping. I'm led to believe they communicate with the main ecu when it comes to oil pressure. When Mivec engages the oil pressure increases exponentially and it's possible they exceed the operating parameters of the tranny ecu under extended WOT.

When you let off the gas it falls into normal parameters then shifts.

When last have you checked your transmission oil?

I will do some more research on this.

I check my transmission oil at least once a month before every Autocross event. I did install a few weeks ago an additional transmission cooler but I did add fluid to the recommended level. This didn't make a difference for shifting.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the Ralliart AT has a PCU, tranny and engine management together.
