I've seen more 2013 Vipers last month than i've ever seen RA's...
(theres 3 test vipers w/ manufacturer plates around where i drive...a red one, a yellow one and a blue/white striped one)

they look crazy awesome at night...specially when u dont know what it is and u'r like "holy crap wtf is that!?!?!?..."*all u see is led tails zipping by and hear the exhaust*

 

227k on the trans now. OEM then the clutch otter put in.

LSD is a great idea when the trans is opened. I'd look and repair as needed from there.

Up to this morning while walking to work, I saw an RA with ES tails and I got my usual I see an RA happy face but christ, only one ever ????

i see the odd one, in my town, there's a grey sedan, and a grey sportback...

 

actually my wife seriously wants to move either down south somewhere...or to canada somewhere(ontario...mainly windsor somewhere)

but if i lived in windsor it MAY still be feasible to work in metro detroit...lol..just a PITA crossing over everyday....twice....and expensive
(obviously not if i moved down south tho)

also i correct myself...i did see another one, once, driving by a window next to a store i was in...i thought it was otter's kuzz it was silver w/ black wheels(like his was @ the time)...it was like 2.5-3yrs ago......and i txtd him and was like "hey i just saw you drive by"...and he was like"uhh...dude im sitting at home...wasn't me"....so i was like..."umm...u sure...i could swear it was u it's like exactly your car" but it wasn't...kuzz he was home @ the time about 45mins away

thinking back tho it was driving @ the time so it could've been a ES w/ an RA spoiler and tails...since it was moving i couldn't see if it was 4 or 5 lugs

and i also saw a sportback once...wasn't RA tho

 

I think we did too in Ypsi before otter moved. The RA is down in OH now with me. I rock it all winter.

a few months before he moved(i didn't know he was moving), i was about to buy his test pipe/downpipe, and a udp from another member on here...but then i had to use the $ for other things so i told them both sorry maybe later...

but yea..i wonder what he ever did w it...kuzz now im still trying to either get a test/downpipe in or go to an exhaust shop and get a custom catback setup...i know i want better sound(have known it since i saw my car at the used car lot and decided im buying it...)...but now(well for a while) my flex pipe has been rattling super loud ~2-2.5krpm...and im about to murder myself over the noise..(on top of the tob/trans noises)...

i dont know if u remember or knew but his wife had a rat rescue/adoption thing she did and that's actually how i met him...AND how i found out he had moved...lol

 

bringing it back from the dead

been a few months and its finally close...gonna do a clutch kit and rebuild the trans, engine rear main seal, TOB and solid egine mounts...
rt now getting pricing for clutch kits and such, so i can get the trans noises gone...

i just want a slightly better than oem replacement...not gonna go crazy and get stage 2 or 3 clutch because i dont need it...and wont need it....(@ least i tell myself that...lol)
also im keeping the OE flywheel because if i replace that too it'll be too expensive for me...again, i dont need it...(i'd like to..but dont have the funds)

previously i posted that i found act and exedy cutches..and was going to do a trans rebuild as i put in a TOB and clutch and solid motor mounts(front and rear), and time has come...within a month or 2 it sould be all done...(hopefully)
now ive been looking more and ive found a 2 others...they're all full disk stage 1

any thoughts on any of the clutches..?...i think likely i'll go with centerforce dual friction(df620459) because it's a kind of mid level pricewise and according to the description itseems to offer some OE replacement but a bit of slightly better performance...(from what ive found)...
ill have to look up reviews or see if any of you people put up good/bad comments about any of theese

i was told exedy is OEM...but figured i'd ask anyway...maybe there's a difference between the one i found and the one mitsu puts in?
i know a few people have said act is pretty good...
also i found a post from '06 somebody got a 4 puck zoom stage 2 clutch kit...but i'm unable to find pricing or availability for it(plus the pricing that was in the post was ~$450 or so...but it did include the TOB...), also i found spec clutches but i can't seem to find a stage 1...only stages 2-5....so they're both off the list

i'll likely buy the TOB and mounts from RRM, and the rebuild kit ill have to look online for best pricing...i know i could make my own solib mounts, but i don't have the time to make them and let them sit and cure for a week...

 

found a place that sells the rebuild kit w/ synchros for $394(+s&h ~$20)...they also offer the kit w/out synchros for $160(not on their site, but i emailed them before and they told me the pricing for it)

it's listed only for the 00+ eclipse but they said in the email it's the same parts for the 04-06 RA...

Who told you it takes a week to cure ? I removed ,filled ,cured ,and installed my set within 24 hours.
