aem ems 4 standalone
aem ems 4 standalone
Has anyone here or anyone know someone that's used this on the ra? I read up on the megasquirt but people are saying that's it doesn't support some of our cars systems like fly by wire or sequential ignition. It's the cheapest of the aem ecus but if I'm pretty scared to do this route not knowing how it will perform with our cars.
there's no point in using either of those, we currently have 2 working options for reflashing and tuning the stock ECU, which will do more than any piggyback or standalone.
I'm running 14psi of boost on a stock motor using nothing but larger injectors, 3 Bar MAP sensor, and the factory ECU...

Well that's true. But what about being able to use a evo head or a custom gearbox the factory ecu even a reflash can only do so much. I'm wanting to be able to tune for infinite possibilities. For now a reflash would be right up my ally if I can ever get ahold of hackish somehow. I'd rather pm him than talk to him through a thread about a reflash. I'd like to have launch control and antilag available to me.

I have launch control...anti-lag is another story...fastworks is still in BETA...you can get ahold of hackish on the fastworks forum, he doesn't come here much anymore.
If you want to run an Evo head, then you need an Evo ECU and control harness, which again, stand alone is not really necessary...
uvtune isn't a thing anymore...that was the company that existed as a partnership between Brent and Michael...no Brent is persuing ECUFlsh/MMCflash, and Michael is still working on his "one-stop" flashing, tuning and datalogging software suite, which is now called Fastworks, but the website is still UVtune.com...lol, or you can go directly to support.fastworks.com.
