Power shifting is basically shifting hard without using the clutch. When done properly, it can cut major time off your et's but if done wrong, you slam ur gears together. Basically ur mathcing the engine RPM to the transmission RPM and when they syncronize, you shift.

Page four and we're still not clear.

I'd hate to see a debate on something that's actually controversial.

Perhaps we should take a poll to clear things up...or take a pic a dictionary page.

Again *sigh*...this explanation of "power shifting" is completely wrong. See previous page for correct description.

This ain't rocket surgery folks!

no, but i see that in it's 4th page, it's rocket SCIENCE! *pronounced Sky-ee-N-see* lol... seriously...

LET ME CLOSE THIS THREAD !!!

Ok, powershifting is whatever you think it is. Let's make it clear and simple. You think you know what powershifting is? If you think it's when you shift without using your clutch, you're right. If you think it's shifting very fast without letting off your accelerator while clutching quickly, you're right! If you think it's when your wife slaps you across the face and tells you to sleep in the corner with the dog, you're also correct!

EVERYONE is right, now can we stop this?!? If you think I'm wrong on what powershifting is, then I suppose you'll think you're right; but all thie meanwhile, I'll think I'm right too! So we're both right, just not to eachother!

No matter how everyone looks at it, everybody's right! ARGH! I hope I made some sense...

... and I know the next person's gonna be like, well, which is the correct answer? Please don't let it be you...

LOL

It's so tempting to ask that question, but this is getting old and I'm going to stand my ground.

Agreed. It's stupid to argue on here. people get so offended by a differing opinion, and they get all emotional. i already have a wife...i don't want my fellow mitsubishi enthusiasts being so sensitive.
