Pricing for 2004 Lancer Sportback Ralliart
My question is what is a good price for a new 2004 Lancer Sportback (wagon) Ralliart.
It had a MSRP of $19,319 and an invoice of $18,347. But it was discontinued after one year and dealers are now starting to get 2006's. I've see a couple of paper ads offering $2000 to $3000 off on 2004's. Rebates and $2000 of the Sportback and $2500 for the Ralliart (if it's both do you get the higher of the two?). Kelly Blue book is showing $11,250-$15,000. Autobuy is $11,950-$13,975 and TMV is 12,046-$13,522.
Taking that into consideration. I thinking of about offering $15 out the door.
What are you thoughts,
Joe

I paid $22800 CDN out the door back in Sept/04 for a brand new one which is approx $18240 US so offering 15k for a brand new one is a really good deal if you can get it. I agree that it would be better if it had come with a 5 speed but the automatic isn't that bad.

They still have brand new ones for sale!?! Damn, at that price you can almost get one AND swap the AT for a MT for the price it sold for last year!!!
I still wish they'd made a 5spd version before discontinuying the model... damn Mitsubishi. Once again they lost a chance to put their products on the map. How many times have I heard people saying they'd have bought the Sportback if it would have come with the MT...

Heck, at my dealership, they cant get rid of 04 ralliarts. They are having a clearance sale on a sun and sound 5 speed ralliart for 13 grand. Same goes for about 4 other ralliarts on the lot.
