Not to hijack your thread white04, but what is everyone's opinion on UD pulleys vs.lightened pulleys that are not underdriven? (eg.: perrin lightened pulley)
I'm trying to decide betweeen the two and have heard a lot about the drop in voltage from the UD pulley. Don't want to strain my alternator.

The Perrin will not fit a Ralliart. That is for the EVO.

Are you running a system?

I was told that the crank pulley was the same for the Evo and the Ralliart

Same bolt pattern, different spacing away from the engine. You will tear up the belt in very quick time if you use a EVO pulley. I would suggest highly against it.

We have had zero problems with the pulley since introduced and I know Joe did not either. You are right to be concerned but the 100s of guys using are happy so....... That means get a pulley if you like, then spend some time with your chick and don't post up the same questions all night every night!

No lightweight only for the RA just the light/UD. Reagardless even with the UD Voltage regulator will mostly compensate for undersize and keep thing chrged up good.

15k miles with UDP and zero problems for me. And I don't exactly drive like granny!

Buy it. Install it. Love it.

I think at this point I have near 50,000 miles on my pulley. Other than probably being close to due for a new belt, I've had no issues.

I have had my pulley on for a good 8 months or sooooo. I have driven from OKC to IL and back then to CA and back with NO PROBLEMS. I have well over 15k miles on it and I dont even think twice about it being on there. JOE thanks for the great product and ROB keep them in stock lol. I would have to say that its one of the BEST mods for the money. I have a volt gauge in my car and it does drop at ideal, but who cars its still putting out 12 plus volts sooo everything works and gets charged, Your lights may dim but that is about it. When not running the lights the volts stay around 13.5 or just over 14 volts. I just got one thing to say GET IT AND HAVE FUN WITH IT, oooo and yes I BEAT on my car when geting on the highway around here since no one knows how to drive in OKC. Zero problems with it.
