Do you guys think this will fit on our Ralliarts? If it will it would be one of the cheaper SRI's I have seen. Looks like the MAF tube even reduces down to the proper size.

Yeah but compared to and AEM SRI which is close to $200 its not too bad. The $100 Ebay intakes all throw CELs and I know the Weapon R Secret Weapon intakes are nice. I just don't know what makes the dragon intakes less money. Intakes are all the same anyway. I just want a good stainless tube that mounts the MAF and won't throw a CEL. I can always replace the filter later.

Just installed the aem bypass valve today. It wasn't that difficult. The hardest part was cutting the pipe. All in all it
took me about 45 min and now I don't have to fear hydrolock!

I just got an AEM 2-piece CAI for my 06 ralliart. It does rain here, and i should have thought about that. But can I just take off the bottom piece and attach the filter to the top piece?

a bit of rain is fine, just as long as the filter doesnt get submerged in water you should be ok, coz there is the plastic mud guard plate things under the engine aswell

I made a short ram intake for 27 dollars.. I cut the air box off with a handsaw and left the maf sensor where it is... then attached a filter and boom you have. A short ram for cheap that works doesn't throw a cel and its not 190 dollars tada

I just wanted to write about my experience I had yesterday about the Injen CAI for the AT.

It poured rain this week and the poor design of the injen CAI (for the AT) allowed water to accumulate in the bottom of the piping. I was parked at work and when going home I couldn't even start my car the first time. The second time I tried I heard loud noises from my engine trying to suck the water in my CAI and noticed steam coming from my exhaust. I quickly turned off my engine and got a buddy to drive me home.

The next day I had to swap my CAI into a short ram in the parking lot... When taking it apart there was probably around 1L FULL of water in my CAI pipe. I got lucky...

SO WARNING FOR THE INJEN CAI if you have lots of rain do not get it!

Or turn into the short ram..... Or get the hydroshield or avoid big puddles.

Oh I had the hydro shield, it DOES reduce performance and it still allowed water to get in while just sitting there... The bypass valve would work but the short ram is just so much easier

You have any proof that it does?
