No. As far as I've found, our axles are unique to our car. Makes it a PITA to find remans.

 

The remans I bought supposedly have a lifetime warranty. I e-mailed the company who made them today about that, so we'll see if they replace them or not. I'd rather go through a few $150 remans under warranty than shell out the $800 or whatever for new ones.

would this also cause shimmy while braking? i frequently get that from60-80mph only while braking, anything lower or higher no shimmy, i thought it was my rotors so i changed them to brand new drilled it came back 2 weeks later

 

Otter, I guess it depends on how many miles you put on a car and your budget. I find stock new OEM axles to be very durable and last a long time. It just gets to be a pita to pursue aftermarket warranties, they argue and nitpick, it is time off work to take the car in again and again - it all just makes your head tired. Personally now I'd rather pay to get up to 300,000 km out of new OEM units.

If I raced (officially) though I'd get the cheaper remans with lifetime warranty - good thinking!

 

well, as it turns out, tires were the culprit. Threw some new ones on and everything was magically fixed.
