Fan Control area light bulb

So I saw a how to over in the evo forums, for changing the color of your fan control area, not sure of the name, but from white to red. Well I did that, but I must've gotten too close down on the one bulb, it has blown or something. The one works but the other doesn't. How do I take this light bulb out and where do I order a new one?

All in all the light that works now gives off a red ligt

Well I did the conversion of those and the ones in my radio, foglight switch, and cluster dimmer knob, as for trying to get to the bulb good luck, and I hope you have small hands, because its the HVAC controls, they are connected to cables, if you can get the cables off and on easily, that would be the way to go but my best advice would be to try to pop out the HVAC unit a little bit (until the cables wont allow it to come any further) and try to get a screw driver back behind the controls to twist it out (you may need to feel around for the hole behind the light, but its there on the back of the HVAC box). For the replacement, I would try the dealer, because those bulbs are impossible to find at an auto part store, at least in my experience. If the dealer says they don't have that bulb try to get one for the gauge cluster as I'm fairly sure they are the same size, and then if needed just switch out the bases (unfortunately dealers often don't know what they are doing and once told me that there was no bulb for my foglight switch, so I had to improvise)

haha yea...I went to an auto part store and had no luck. Before reading this I tried taking it out a little bit, but was a little scared of the ribbon that I saw attached. But all I need to do is twist the back of the bulb? Because I can get to it with a screw driver, I just want to make sure its right haha.

Yea all you gotta do is twist it, it should fall right out, I'm assuming that its the upper bulb that went out? If so your lucky, thats the easiest to get to.

Awesome, took me almost a week to get this fixed lol. But wow I hope the light never blows again!!! What a pain to get back in. But Autozone? Advanced auto parts, idk one of them around where I live, they helped me find a light bulb, its brighter than the other one, but I'm going to replace the other one since it was a two pack.

Thanks again for the help!!!

Those are your dome lights if I'm not mistaken ; ). I'm not really sure of someone sells them. But just paint the light bulbs blue with acrylic paint lol. And if they blow, go to advanced auto parts. They have the bulbs there for 3$. 2 in a pack.
