Its the eclipse 4g69 one FW-103-3al. The bolt are a quarter inch shorter they fit just not allthe way and there isnt much head room for the bolts so any bolts with a larger head will hit the clutch. I'm worried still when theyre in that small flat piece of metal(i guess its more of a retainer) might make them touch. Right now i have no idea where to even get bolts and clutch master didn't send any with the flywheel and I dunno what o'riellys or some where could do.

on the end of the transmission there's a black plastic cap about an inch and a half around, stab a screw driver into it and pop it off, under that is a medium sized snap ring that holds the end of the output shaft to the transmission case. you remove that and you will hear the input shaft drop, also you should have already removed all other bolts excluding fill and drain, and the shifter linkage thing has to come off as well...

Ok, so i cant find any specs on flywheel bolts. Does anyone know if the eclipse 4g69 and lancer 4g69 are the same flywheel bolts or different lengths? I cant find any specs online, maybe i'll call the dealer tomorrow to see if they are the same part numbe. Im really hoping to put my clutch and flywheel in soon but dont want to run into problems.

Lancer 4G69 flywheel bolt = MD368638 M12x15.5mm
Eclipse 4G69 flywheel bolt = MD368638 M12x15.5mm

Looks the same to me. Get your car back together.

I went through this TODAY. I couldnt get mine apart for NOTHING. Is it difficult to put back together?

As for the other issues floating around...

Eclipse flywheel WILL fit. Im running one now.
What is the issue with the bolts? What is wrong with the stock ones out of the flywheel?

NOT a fan of ACT. Ive owned a stage 3 AND a stage 1. Stage 3 gave me all kinds of issues. The stage 1 seems to be ok but the throw out bearings with both made noise.

Well the bolts will catch but they like about a quarter of an inch to reaching as far as with the stock flywheel, So im just getting some a lil longer. As for the clutch I've had it for months. Waiting on the flwheeel and everything else i got but that ever since I got that's all I have heard I'm just staying optimistic about it.
