New 05 RA owner with some questions

Well I just bought an 05 RA and the issue am noticing and not sure if its actually an issue, the radiator fans only 1 works and it turns on right after turning the car on. And stays on for like 5 seconds after the car is off. I noticed 1 of the fans (the one that wont turn on) was disconected when I bought the car. I reconected the fan to the control unit but still wont turn on no matter if ac is on or not. I also noticed that the cars built in security system activates even when the car is on when I press twice the lock button. Requiring me to turn the car off and putting the key in they doors key hole to deactivate the horn. Is this normal?

1. You need a new fan control module and possibly a new fan.
2. The cars don't come with alarms from the factory.

Are those expensive???? Also theres a lot of noise in the rear suspension. Like sqweeking sound everytime the car moves. I replaced the wishbones I think they are called. 4 parts that looks like bones and still have the noise. Any ideas?

Welcome! What Raikiri said in regards to the fan control module. And no, it is not normal to have to put the key in the door to disable the horn. Take it back to the dealer you bought it from and tell them these problems.

Also, post pics!

The modules are roughly like... $80-$90?

The rear squeaking you're hearing is more than likely the rear control arm bushings.

also check your rear sway bar bushings, as well as trailing arms etc, it could be anything. you say you replaced the control links and control arms?

Edit: MY POST IS INCORRECT PLEASE DISREGARD

The rad fan will stay on after the car turns off due to it wanting to cool the engine bay, the second fan there isn't powered but as you drive, the air will spin the fan and cool the bay as well. I was confused as only 1 fan was powered but realized that it isn't 2 powered fans with only 1 working, but it's a powered and a non powered fan. If that makes sense!

^^^^ What the **** is that guy talking about? The second fan comes on when you turn the a/c on, the fans stay on because the module can fail and for some reason it fails closed and gets power direct from the relay which takes a while to open after you turn off the key. The fan will also run louder and faster. when I had my fan hooked up directly to the connector from the relay this is how it acted so it's from experience

There is no wiring hooked up to that second fan so I will take a look at it again. Thanks guys for letting me know that it isn't supposed to be like that!

both fans should be connected, the fan control module has 3 connectors on it, on input from the main harness, and two output for the fans. There're even clips on the rad fan shroud/bracket to hold the wire and connector from the a/c condenser fan
