If I drive aggressively with my usual 30% city and 70% highway, I get about 24-26 mpg.

If I drive moderately with the same %'s above, I get 27-28mpg.

When I drive to L.A. which is 320 miles round trip, I get about 30.5 mpg with cruise set at 72mph.

I use Premium gas because of my mods below.

I;ve got an ingen CAI and exhaust put on at the dealership when i bought my 05 RA. When i drive spirited - to put it mildly...I get around 25mpg. Just for the hell of it, I've tried driving normally for half a tank then filled her up...and easily got 30mpg in the city. On teh highway, if i'm travelling 140Km/hour, i get between 42-45 mpg. If I'm travelling at about 120km/hour, i put it in fourth and rev around 4500 to get about 38-40 mpg. Being in fifth and revving 3000-3500 gives me consumption of around 32-35ish. I know i'm getting some damned good numbers....I must've lucked out with my car!! or the mods help, i dunno. But i'm not complaining.

200 Miles to the tank, if I'm lucky. I do a mix of city and highway per tank. I wish I could get the 25+ MPG I read about. Oh, and I only run 87 octane.....maybe that's it....

mileage

I get 30 mpg with mostly freeway driving to work everyday. That was from this May to September. Once they started with the reformulated gas here in Wisconsin, my mileage dropped to 26 or 27. Gas here is about $2.10 a gallon right now.

I get about 25 miles a gallon on 87. Its so nice to use cheap fuel again my other car is SC'd and can only run on 91.

great gas milage.

i just took the first long trip in my RA. on the first leg i stayed between 65 and 70mph on cruise control on the freeway with light traffic and no A/C. gassed up on 149.9 miles with only 4.26 gals. for 35.19mpg. mind you this is 98% freeway driving. next leg i went 65 to 75mph with the A/C on mostly with some stop and go traffic. 212.4 miles with 7.739gal for 27.4mpg. thats typical for my normal going to work driving. so staying below 70mph with no A/C seems to be the ticket.
